CHAPTER 16- AURORA'S POV

When i slept i was enveloped with hero's heat and was really comfy and when i woke up i found myself and my bed cold. Maybe what happened yesterday freaked him out and he doesn't want to see me more and will start ignoring me. Hold your horses Aurora, why are you getting upset with the possibility that you won't have to see him again instead you should be happy that you got rid of your distraction without any work but i don't know why instead of feeling of joy i am sad all of the sudden. I don't know why he has power over my thoughts when he shouldn't have any kind of it on him,but i won't waste my energy on him when I've got tons of things i need to do today .To keep the spirits up , I quickly removed the blanket off of me and started getting ready for the morning classes, i was disappointed in him , i thought he was happy yesterday but i guess i was wrong there and i read too much in the lines. But i won't let him ruin my new day and will utilise my full day with the same mantra i left my room holding hands with Nikki, i am so lucky that i found her cuz she could turn my gloomy days into bright one. We shared our lab practicals together and got paired with her for the rest of the semester. Well one thing that i can say for sure is that i have indeed found some good friends over here. Nikki is so smart, cheerful , beautiful and such a great friend that I'd be blind if i let her go, so I'm not letting her go like ever. I know she have my back and is possessive of me which i like the most about her.
When we were done for the day and left college, we both were walking on the sidewalk talking about how long the day is, thats when i felt the sensation of being watched , but when i looked around i saw nothing and no one there. So i blamed into my imagination and paranoia. "What happened Auro ?" Nikki asked me after seeing that i stopped paying attention. I shook my head in no and told her that it was nothing. "You know you can finally admit it to me that you have a thing for Chris, i saw you guys were having lovey dovey look on your faces when you talked and i won't let you forget that i also saw that you guys couldn't keep your hands to yourself."i asked her with a wink. I know they will be more than friends and i can't wait to see that."There's nothing serious here, just that he is nice and we are meeting later ,but you need to keep this info to yourself, he is a player and i don't want all the girls who are fanning over him to get the wind that we are talking, i don't want to be in the spotlight." "I know and my lips are locked and the key is deep in the ocean so you don't need to worry that I'll share your things and the things only remain between us." I assured her but i was happy that she was going on a date with him, they both have potential and I'll like for these two to have something good to hold on. When we turned the corner for our home , i felt again that someone was watching us and again there was no one around , this s**t is getting weird and this time I'm sure that it wasn't paranoia the first time too.
I arrived at practice with Ari and i briefed her and Nikki on the call what went down yesterday on the way over to the court. I didn't wanted them to think that I'm hiding something from them, I also told them what happened with Hero the last night, they both listened carefully and told me to give him a chance to explain, and the thought that i wasn't entertaining right now. I was still pissed at him and he'll have to do little grovelling to get on my good side. I told them the same and they both laughed to this.
At practice we did our normal routine and when we were nearing the end of practice ,then i saw him waving from across the court ,trying to get my attention, but i simply ignored him and walked out of there with Ari without looking back.
