CHAPTER 17- HERO'S POV

Well what now just happened, was making me crazy, everything was fine between us when i left her room this morning and now she just ignored me like i didn't even exist, like it was not me holding her last night. There is a space between us that i don't like a bit. I thought the things were progressing but now i think i got it all wrong. This morning i was satisfied for the first time in my life, like this is a place where i belong i.e by her side, it felt right, like she belongs here too, this is where she should be ,in my arms. I don't know what went down or what happened in a couple of hours, but all i know is that i have to fix it and as you all know, determination and perseverance is my forte.

Me and Chris were just packing our s**t, when i saw Noah leaving silently, which i knew was weird and from the look on his face my suspicion was confirmed. Using the back door he left the court, not thinking twice i dragged Chris off the court and followed him out. Seeing the perplexed look on Chris's face i only told him that i would tell him later as there's no time to waste and for now we only have to follow him.With that said me and Chris also left the practice.

When we got out, we quickly hid in the dark corner so he won't see us following him and het alerted. We saw him enter his car and leaving towards the highway 6. As soon as he left the parking lot , we got into our car and sped after him. As the car took the turns in the road, i realised that we were on the familiar side of the city, and my curiosity was at zenith when we reached our destination. And let me not keep you guys in suspense anymore, the place we ended was none other than the club we all were last night. We parked far away so that we were out of the watching distance, but not that far away to not see what all was happening.

We only had to wait ten minutes when another car pulled up next to Noah's car, i already had suspicion on Noah the other day, it was all too much coincidence but it was confirmed when the same guy from other night who attacked Auro got out the car and walked towards that douche. Out of the corner of my eye i saw Chris's eyes popping, finally he was connecting the dots and was coming to the same conclusion. I turned my attention back on the scene which was happening right in front of me. They both were talking but i didn't know what they were talking about as i was out of hearing range but with their hand actions and expression i could tell that they were in sort of argument. For a while they kept arguing but then Noah went to the trunk and took out a bag and thrashed that bag in that guy's arm, the other guy opened the bag and looked inside and nodded , from where i was sitting i could tell that bag had money and that was enough to see me red , cuz Noah crossed every limit when he paid that dirtbag to put his hands on my girl, and he should have known what was coming his way , when he even thought that. Without further thinking i got out of the car and ran their way, i was so furious that my ear rang and even though Chris tried to stop me before getting out of the car , he also ran with me towards them, i should have known he would never leave me alone and especially when the situation was serious.

When i reached there i punched the dirtbag and laid flat on the guy in one punch, then i turned back to Noah with my fist clenched, and the look on his face which was full of shocked, confusion, little bit of fear in his eyes was all worth it. "Surprise, surprise my friend , we didn't knew that we'll find you out here with the guy you punched last night and if i recall it right the same you punched for saving Aurora and we saw this much money laying on the floor next to that guy . Well this is fascinating, don't you think?" I asked him with a bite to my tone.

"That's none of your business, Hero, so keep your nose out of my matter", he replied , i never wanted to hit anyone this bad ever than i did right in that moment. "Well believe me when i say i don't want to involve in your god damn business, but when Aurora is involved it sort of turn into my business , Noah, hope that replied your question, and now that i have answered your question, i want an answer to my very simple question- why did you do it, is it because of me that you dragged Aurora into this?"

"Oh trying to be bossy are you? You think i did this all cuz of you well my dear friend you got it all wrong, i did itnfor myself so Aurora can see what a prince in shinning armor i am, who saved her from the bad guy. You think you can have her but i bet she will be mine in the end, see you around Hero." With that he turned around to leave but stopped at the last moment, with his back to me he added ,"To add cherry on the top i texted her earlier today and asked her to meet me this weekend and you know what she agreed". With this he got into his car and left.

I was standing there with my mind racing a mile per hour, i was in my mind when a hand came down on my shoulder, i slowly turned around and faced Chris, " let's go hero its getting late " i nodded my head yes to that, we were about to leave when we saw that guy was still on the pavement , "that was a mean punch you landed" Chris said chuckling to which i laughed too. " But what about the guy and money?" He asked me . " Let him lay there and for money we will take that dirtbag don't deserve it for what he did yesterday and later on we can denote money to some needy person, lets go Chris and i hope you got the answer why i dragged you here and how all the events took place till now". With Chris's yes answer, we left the area too.
