CHAPTER 18- AURORA'S POV

I can admit it loudly that today wasn't the finest day of my college life till date. It was mostly boring and at someone i was so pissed it ruined my mood, i was pissed at Hero for the way he left but i was mad at me the most that i was so affected with his behavior when all my life i always kept the feelings at bay. I was trying to sort it all in my head when Nikki entered my room when i lifted my head to look at her she was a ball of happiness heading my way, i couldn't help, i smiled at that her happiness was simply contagious. She floped on my bed grining at me. "Okay someone is really happy and there is quite a reason, so babe spill", I told Nikki with a laugh, at least i had something good to focus. "Well, there's definitely something i want to tell you, umm.. Auro..its just..". " Don't keep me in suspense here " i playfully scolded and laughingly hit her with my pillow, at which she hit me with other pillow. Oh boy the game was on !and i wasn't the one to back down . So after an hour when we should be talking we ended up in pillow fight. My bed and floor was filled with feathers and am sure there were some in my hair. Me and Nikki laid there laughing and breathing heavily laying on the bed after the intense fight we got in, when we got the look of each other it made us laugh harder. Her hair was all mussed with so many feathers in it she looked like an adorable chicken which was so funny my eyes were filled with tears and i had to clutch my stomach cuz it hurt more when i laughed. It was much more fun i had since the Club thing happened. Me and Nikki were staring at ceiling when she told me the reason why was practically shining. "Chris asked me on a date on this weekend, i never even thought he liked me let alone asking me on a date looks so much unbelievable, it being a surprise is an understatement, he was looking me expectantly and then i realised that i was just dumbly staring at him , i wanted to jump and tell him that i would love to , but i didn't wanted to make a fool of myself so i simply said yes that i would like that as calmly as i could say and left. God it was so exciting Auro and the first person i wanted to tell this was you ." she told me blushing.

" Now I get the reason behind that megawatt smile of yours ,I'm so happy for you Nikki that i can't tell you, and u know u just blushed right?" I teased her to which she stuck her tongue out to me. To which i giggled.

"You know what we should celebrate this, grab your things ,we are leaving" i told her standing up . "But where are we going?" She asked but left for her room . "That's surprise and be quick" i said loudly so she could hear me after the door of my room closed after she walked out.

I just recalled that i never took you for our house tour, Basically our dorm was like mini flat with enough space for each of us, there were two rooms ,a living room ,a small kitchen and one bathroom that we both shared, the place was neither small nor big it was perfect. We lived on first floor so we never had to take elevator, there was a small parking lot in front of our building and behind the building there was a garden with a small fountain i loved everything here, and i was glad i found a great friend in a roommate .

I got back to business of getting ready and put on a sundress and tied my hair in ponytail as it was still warm outside and hey a girl need to cheer up. I left my room and at the same time Nikki was out of her room wearing a jeans and a floral top looking beautiful as ever, as i didn't know how to drive a car but i was a proud owner of vespa scooter, so when she asked if we were taking her car to which i shook my head and smiled at her, there's was something else i had in my mind. She looked confused to my response so i just hold her hand and dragged her out of there.

We took the stairs and went to parking lot , i took the keys out and jingled in front of Nikki's face smiling. "No way we are going on this" she said laughing . "Yes we are and now put your helmet on , we are going for a ride" i told her while putting my own helmet on. " But i have never been on this ever before" she looked little bit nervous but i know she was excited too. " All you have to do is be your beautiful self, sit and enjoy the adventure". I got in front of the seat and she sat behind me after she had put her helmet, she held onto me which put a smile on my face. I rotated the key and the vespa came to life and then i took off earning a big cheer from Nikki.

I took the road to the beach as it was time for sunset and it looked beautiful from the beach . As beach was near to our campus so it took us hardly fifteen minutes to reach there, we parked by the road,removing our helmet and started to walking towards the shore , we also bought icecreams to enjoy ourselves.

We were there at the nick of the time as the sun started to set into the sea, the scene was so beautiful with all the colors in the sky , the seagulls flying , the reflection of the sun in the water, waves crashing against the shore, it looked so mesmerizing that i couldn't even took my eyes off. I took my phone out and clicked a picture of it and took a selfie of me and Nikki making the goofy pictures with the icecream and sunset, i loved all the pics it was so real and we looked so peaceful and happy. We watched the sun getting down and even after the sunset we stayed for a while, we removed our shoes held them in our hands and walked in the water by the shore, it was such a heavenly feeling that i started to relax, me and Nikki talked about everything silly we could thought of, we laughed the whole time.

When it started to get dark we decided to call it a night and made a plan to come back to swim for which i couldn't wait. We went back to where my vespa was parked and headed back to our place. I parked at my usual spot and put back the helmets. "Wow Auro that was so much it was so refreshing , beautiful and so much more, i loved every second of it we need to do it more" well i could agree to every word she said . I was so glad that i didn't thought about him all this time and i was happy about this small victory until i saw him standing in front of our door, with his hand in his pockets looking down, he looked as handsome as ever that for a minute i lost in the view in front of me but then i remembered what happened the last time i saw him, but i didn't wanted to spoil my happy mood . I walked with Nikki by my side in the direction of our door, when he heard the footsteps he looked up, when he lifted his eyes to me and our eyes connected i felt the same attraction again but this time as usual i neglected it and now i had more reasons to shove it deep deep down and bury it. I broke the eye contact and moved past him to get into the dorm.
