Paix et calme

Next day *Tuesday*

Today, I'm going to the cafe down the street to apply for a job cause' obviously I need money to pay for my bills. I have other plans on how to get money but for now, this will do. After feeding Mimi, I went and got ready to go out.

"Wish me luck Mimi! I'll be back with some treats for you"

I check my purse for keys, wallet, phone, and an umbrella then I immediately went out to go to the cafe. A few minutes pass by and I arrive at the café.

"Paix et calme... I wonder why they chose a French name instead of an English or Korean name"

I enter the cafe and suddenly an employee starts talking to me.

"Welcome to Paix et Calme! I'm Mina How may I help you?"

"I'm here to apply for a job here"

"Oh! Let me bring you to the back then and let's start your interview!" She said as she starts dragging me to the back of the cafe.

"But don't I need to give you some documents or something first?"

"Nah, we don't need those here cause' all the things we need to know about you is really simple and we like to get to know new people slowly instead of reading it from a piece of paper" She answers as she sits me down in the office.

"Well okay then."

A few minutes pass by and the interview finishes. Surprisingly, the interview went just like a normal conversation and not very formal and professional. It was so fun.

"Well Aimien, you got the job," she said bringing her hand out for a handshake.

"When do I start then?" I answer shaking her hand.

"Tomorrow, It's usually just me so it would be great to have someone to work with especially on a Wednesday"

"I saw that you allow dogs here, Am I allowed to bring in my dog tomorrow?"

"Of course! Anyways I wanted to ask you earlier but why did you move to Korea?"

"I just wanted a fresh start you know... And Korea is the closest to Japan which is where my best friend is"

"Hmmm, Alright then."

"May I ask have you met your soulmate? Just curious"

"Why yes, I have! And he actually works here too but he works on Friday to Sunday"

"You met him here?"

"Yep, he's the one that interviewed me and from there we bonded"

"That's nice, Anyways I better get going my dog's waiting for me at home and I still need to unpack some stuff and that'll take so much longer if I don't do that now," I say waving to her as I went to the front of the cafe

"I'll see you tomorrow!"

With that, I went out to go to the grocery store near my apartment complex. I'm so lucky to have so many shops near my home. I don't have to go very far unless I really need to.

I enter the store and Immediately got a cart so I could finish fast to go home to my lovely dog.

The guys and I decided to go to the grocery store to buy some groceries. We decided to split up into small groups to get back home fast.

"Justin, you go with Tom to get the drinks"

"Ok, Chris"

Tom and I went to the dairy aisle to buy my banana milk when I suddenly saw a purple aura on the aisle beside it.

"Tom! I see a purple aura beside the dairy aisle!" I said pointing to the aisle beside the dairy isle

"We need to hurry Justin we need to get home early we all have work tomorrow," he said as he hurriedly grabbed the banana milk going straight to the soft drinks.

I look back to the isle beside ours only to see the aura gone.

"Ughhh"

An hour later

I get in my apartment greeted by Mimi.

"How's my baby doing? Are you hungry?" I said as she starts spinning around.

"Let's get you some food then"

After putting the groceries in their right places, I went into my studio. Yes my studio, This apartment is has a guestroom and 2 vacant rooms which I made into my hobby/office. One of my recording room/studio the other being entirely for my other hobbies like playing instruments, painting, and filming.

*Riiiiiiinnnnggg* *Riiiiingggg* *Riiiiinnnng*

"Hello, Aimien speaking"

"Hai b***h"

"How you doin' Boo"

"Doin' Great! How bout you?"

"So far, it's been great! My first day of work is tomorrow!"

"You already got a job that fasts!"

"Well, yeah hahahahaha"

We talked for the rest of the night before she was called by Brian to go to bed. Must be nice having someone care for you like that huh... Well, we'll never know maybe I'll meet my soulmates here in Korea which seems impossible but hey the world isn't cruel. It'll happen just not immediately... I just gotta wait for more.

"Well I guess, I better start with writing some songs I could post on YouTube since I don't have anything to do for the rest of the day"

A few hours later, I finish writing a bunch of songs then I take a bath and prepare for bed because tomorrow I need to wake up early to go to Paix et calme.

Time skip next day

I arrive at Paix et calme with my dog when I hear Mina shouting for my name.

"AIMIEEEENNNN!!!!!!!'

"Good Morning Mina!"

"I have your uniform right here with your name tag"

*s**t short sleeve blouse! My birthmark will show*

"Thanks, Mina! I'll hand over Mimi to you while I change"

"Of course! Go change we need to open up soon"

Okay, it's not like I hate showing my birthmark it's just that people ask about it and it's kind of annoying because they keep saying the same thing over and over again. But I'll have to deal with that because this is the uniform.

After changing, I go out to see Mina playing with Mimi.

"I'm ready Mina!"

"I'll open up the shop, you let Mimi roam around the shop just make sure the back door is locked."

"Okay!"

I went and picked up Mimi and went to check if the back door is locked. A few minutes later, I go back and put Mimi down so she can roam around and immediately went beside Mina to start making the customer's orders.

Time skip Noon

I was going to start making the next order when Mina told me to switch with her and start taking orders. I stand behind the counter and start taking orders when suddenly I started seeing colors.

"WHAT THE f**k!"
