That just spiked my anxiety. Hybrids were known to be dangerous and uncontrollable if lost their cool. I looked between the four supernatural beings in the room, and I tucked my legs closer to me, terrified. "She's scared. Andy, give her some space. Let her come to us, or she'll run." Andy sighed, and backed up a bit, sitting down. "You trusted me to take you here. Please, tell me what has you so scared." I shook my head, and mumbled 'no' under my breath again and again. He sighed. "Jeremy." Jeremy stepped forwards, and sat down next to Andy. "Look, I'm a human too. And not one of them has ever even thought about hurting me." "I have." "Ashley shut up. You're not making this easy." "We can't guarantee we won't hurt her. Everyone looses control." "You know what? I think I know what might help. Leave her with me for a bit." Andy growled. "Not a chance. what if you snap and hurt her?" "I won't! Jeez, you're so overprotective." "How about you boys stop being so overprotective, and let me touch her up, and then you lot can take her out in public. She'll be less uncomfortable if there's a crowd of humans." Andy looked at me. "Do you want to do that?" I bit my lip, and avoided eye contact. "C'mon, guys. Let's go upstairs or something. She won't answer to all of us." Ashley stood up, and grabbed Jake by the collar, grabbing the hand of the hybrid girl on his way. The rest followed, and then it was just me and Andy. I whimpered, and shied away from him when he drew closer. "Don't, please..." I mumbled. "Aelonia. Here." He handed me a wrapped item, and I paused. He chuckled. "It's food. I thought you might be hungry. Eating always helps me to think. Though normal food does nothing for me, I still like to eat it. To savor the taste." I slowly stopped wringing my hands, and glanced around me, looking for escape as I took the food. "What... What is it?" "A burger. Fast food. Greasy. It tastes really good." He took out another wrapped item of the same size, and unwrapped it. It looked greasy.... I looked at his in distaste, and he chuckled. "It tastes better than it looks. Trust me." He took a bite, and closed his eyes, chewing slowly. Once he swallowed, he opened his eyes, and sighed. "I wish I could really eat this stuff as a craving... If I eat too much, I throw it up.... Curse of being what I am..." He mumbled as he stared at the food in his hands, and then wrapped it back up. "Jake will eat it." He put it back in the bag, and looked at me. Slowly, I unwrapped it, and took a small bite. I chewed it slowly, and felt my face scrunch up. I swallowed, wrapped it back up, and put it back. "I don't think I like this fast food thing very much." He chuckled. "You're extraordinary... It's something I like about you." I looked at him, and then at the kind smile on his face. In that instant, I knew he was someone I could trust, and I nodded a bit. "I... I trust.... You." His lips parted, and he stared at me in awe. "Wait... Really?" I nodded a bit. "Yes." He gave me a smile, and then stuck his hand out. "If you like, I can stand outside the room while Amelia finds you clothes. Will that make you feel better?" I nodded a bit, and I took his hand. He stood up, and pulled me with, which ended in me crashing against him. He steadied me with his hands on my shoulders, and then stepped back a bit. "Come along then." He led me outside, and I hid behind him. "So she's decided to trust you. Its a miracle... She needs support from someone." Ashley's words hit me a little harshly, and I looked down. "I'm sorry." I mumbled. He scoffed. "Brainwashed..." He walked past me, and I flinched at his brisk air, and stepped away from him. "Ignore him, Sweetie. He's a bit of an asshole." "I heard that!" He appeared around the corner, and she stuck her middle finger up at him. I pointed to her hand, and looked at her. "What does that mean?" She looked at me, confused. I grabbed her hand, and put down her other fingers, leaving her middle one up. "That." She laughed. "It's a way of saying 'f**k you' to someone." I nodded a bit, and let go of her hand, wrapping my arms around myself. "Come on, then. Both of you." Andy walked in-between us, and I scuttled after him, leaving everyone else outside. We stopped in front of a door, and Amelia walked in front of me, and swung open the door. Millions of clothes laid on chairs, with shoes and dressers and wardrobes. Andy nudged me inside the room, and when he tried to shut the door, I flinched, and reached for the handle. He smiled at me. "I'll be right here outside the door, okay? I promise." Slowly, I nodded, and let go of the handle. He shut the door, and Amelia approached me. "Don't worry, sweetie. I'm not interested in hurting anyone, ever. I was attacked by a vampire, and they turned me. So I know what it feels like." She lifted up my shirt to my bra-line, and she hummed. "Not a single flaw. Your skin is pricelessly gorgeous. Perfect canvas.." She then turned to a pile of shirts, and rummaged through there first, pulling together an outfit. She started with brushing out my blue hair, and hummed. "You don't need any makeup. You're flawlessly beautiful." I looked away, biting my lip. "Thank you." She laughed. "You're welcome, dear." Then she handed me the jeans and the shirt, and opened the door. "You change now." I paused. "Is..." She smiled, and opened the door wider to show Andy. He looked up from his contraption they called a phone, and smiled at me. "I'm right here." He shut the door, and I unbuttoned the shirt, and let it fall to the floor. I turned to the full size mirror to my right, and stared at the scars on my chest. From his bite marks. I had burns on my back, from him trying to set me on fire... Then, the faint outline of the iron bar that had impaled me through my stomach. I sighed, and grabbed the shirt she wanted me to wear, and I put it on. It barely hid my scar, but it was good enough. I then stripped myself of my bottoms, and stared at my bruised legs. Dark purple bruises laid where he had put his hands on me, and bit down too hard. Claim marks. That I was his slave, and no-one else's. I bit my lip, and sucked in a slow breath before slipping on the pants, and putting on the shoes. I opened the door, and Andy stared at me. "Holy shit... You look amazing!" He spoke the words in awe, gawking at me. I felt my face heat up, and I ducked my head down. "I've never been told such a thing... Nor have I ever been stared at with such awe." I mumbled. He cleared his throat. "I- um-" "Alright, Andy. Enough flirting. I've got to add accessories." She added four bracelets, and then she grabbed a necklace. I flinched, and she hummed. "Go on, dear. It's alright. I won't hurt you. You should let Andy heal those.... He can." I lifted my hair, and she gasped. "Jesus...!" She turned around, and opened the door, dragging Andy in. "You- Please! Show him!" I swallowed nervously, and lifted my hair again, revealing my vulnerable spot. He sighed. "Let me heal them. Please." I nodded a bit, and he gently placed his face into my neck. I instantly froze up, but he kissed my neck, and a soothing vibe spread across my body from where his lips touched me. He backed way off after, and sighed. He looked troubled. "I'm sorry. It's a little uncomfortable, but that's the only way I know how to heal people." He averted his eyes, and Amelia snorted. "Flirt. You really like her, don't you?" He coughed. "Amelia! She's right there." He sighed and grabbed the necklace. "Can I..?" I nodded, and lifted my hair. The velvet fabric slid across my skin, and I heard a light click once the clasp was set in place, and then I let down my hair. "You look amazing, Aelonia." I ducked my head down to stare at my feet, and I fiddled with one of the bracelets. "Thank you." "You know what? Keep all of that. You look gorgeous. Come on, let's show the guys." "Hey! Are we ready to go then- Holy s**t! Is- Are you the same person?" "Oh my God, Jake! Shut your trap! You're such an i***t for being a wolf." The two began to quarrel, and I bit my lip, hiding a small smile. "Shut up! You're both giving me a headache... Let's just f*****g go already." Ashley stopped the bickering two immediately, and stood up, walking towards the door that led to the front of the lot. A driveway. Andy sighed. "Let's go, guys.."
