Where the hell is Montesano?
The pale light streams through the window, as my eyes flutter open. I push my self up and look around the dim lit room. Boxes surround me in all directions. I slowly began my daily routine, while avoiding each box. I pulled a moderately clean shirt over my head, and started for the door. I was greeted by the smell of pancakes and bacon being cooked. Mmm, I could help but put a smile on my face as I continued down the stars. “Good morning, sleep well for your last night?” My mother chirped. I rolled my eyes. “Are you finally going to tell us where we are moving?” I said with a slight attitude. My brother sat next to me and piped in.
”I know! I know!” Gus screeched. “You’re right next to me, no need to yell. And Gus, you’re 14, so act like a teenager.” He stuck his tongue out, and I began to mock him. “That’s enough, you two.” My mother exclaimed. “We are moving to Montesano Washington!” She said happily. “Jesus Mom, you could have at least moved us to Seattle. Where the hell even is Montesano?” Gus and I laughed at my mothers frown. “It had a good position open for me. How about you finish those pancakes and finish packing?” I nodded and began to eat the pancakes “I’ll be back in an hour after work. Please be ready to go. Love you!” We waved her out.
” Okay nerd, let’s get ready to go.”
