ALLURING

PROLOGUE She didn't know where she was going but she had to get to safety, the horrors of Hell were too much. there is nothing human about Demons but then again Demons aren't humans.How did she get here?the footsteps were sounding pretty clear,she was not imagining it they were really after her Run! Run!! Run!!!...... that's all Sophia could think, the shrieking sounds made her terrified, it felt like a huge beast was flapping it's wings right above her,the force and the noise was overwhelming,she had to get to safety RUN. She kept running but her lungs were giving up on her,her breathe became short,her legs heavy,her vision blurry,she tripped on something and fell,she groaned and held her ankle, the rustling in the dried Bush stopped and the crawled out, Ugly looking creatures with deformed face,some better than the other,spit drooling from their mouths filled with huge teeth the last thing she remembered was a sharp pain at the back of the neck everything was still then it was dark........... What if she died in hell? ....... In the bustling city of Graywood, where darkness and light entwined like the shadows and flames of the city's famous pyromancy district, a powerful demon lord named Keith strolled through the crowded streets. His piercing eyes and chiseled features drew admiring glances from humans, unaware of his true nature. Keith's dark aura was veiled, allowing him to move undetected among the mortal population. As he turned a corner, his gaze fell upon a petite, raven-haired beauty named Sophia. Her warm smile and radiant laughter captivated him, like a ray of sunlight piercing the darkness. She worked at a quaint dinner, surrounded by by people who seemed happy and familiar with her as the conversed. Entranced, Keith watched Sophia help a customer, her eyes sparkling with kindness. For the first time in centuries, the demon lord felt a spark of curiosity, a hint of fascination that went beyond mere mortal allure. He sensed something special in Sophia, a light that might pierce the shadows of his own soul. And so, Keith began to weave a subtle spell, one that would bring them together in a dance of fate and forbidden love.. “how about you make it interesting this time and make her fall in love naturally" Adrian whispered into Keith ears. “what fun is it if anything comes easy" he stood next to Keith "you need to calm down, the heat from you can burn my clothes,the are quiet expensive" Adrian was smirking clearly enjoying himself. "for a shape shifter don't u have things to do other than stalking me?" Keith's voice was grim but it didn't shake Adrian. "You have been in hell for awhile,I mean I could sense ur Aura,not that it's my favorite thing I just had to come see if it was really you, the Raven is quite peculiar I must say" Adrian was observing Sophia who was at this time talking to a very old couple "Raven?" Keith asked raising his perfectly carved brows "Yeah you know her hair,it's black, beautiful,too black if I may add" turning around Adrian looked his long time friend in the eyes "How have you been old friend?" the smirk was no longer on his face his handsome face was cover with concern his emerald green eyes piercing in his friends golden eyes. "I am back, and since I can't die I will keep living,God's ever enduring curse on us" he looked around but Sophie was no longer in sight, Arg where did she go? Adrian always has a way oh distracting him. "seems the Raven flew away" Adrian was grinning again, "looks like it about to rain, we'll see you around old friend" grinning Adrian Vanished. the clouds were heavy, and the smell of rain brought memories back to Keith, memories of what Humans enjoy, the smell of life,water,air,and earth,God's masterpiece. he chuckled,his mind has been drifting to God lately,he sighed "I must be crazy " he muttered under his breath he rose into the air and merged with the thick darkness, Sophia was heading Home,she was in a rush to avoid the rain,she didn't seem interested in taking a cab so Keith assumed she lived near by. she looked so small and fragile,too fragile to be walking alone in the dark with all the hideousness within it. Sophia Walk pretty fast for someone small, she had no intentions of getting drenched today, the wind was howling,she could taste the dust in the air,she pulled her coat and wrapped her arms around her small figure,she felt something and stopped abruptly she turned around she couldn't see anything but darkness,"curse the dark" she muttered she hated the alley but it was the fastest way home. she couldn't ignore the presence she felt "who is there? show yourself" she wasn't ready for whatever would emerge from the dark. Keith found it amusing "she is courageous" he thought Bold, he knew he cloaked his aura but she sensed him anyways, interesting. "Show yourself" she said again but she heard nothing but the rustling of wind,damn it she turned around and walk faster clutching the pepper spray in her pocket who ever intends to jump her will get the shock of his life. she got home before,the heavy down poor,it was quiet,she was use to the loneliness after her mother passed away. Sophia managed to take a quick shower and went to bed. The rain poured down heavily, dancing on the roof sending her into deep blissful sleep,she surrendered to the warmth of her bed and slept off. Sophia woke up from a Thunder clap,it sounded like a cannon shot right over her head. "it's just the storm,it's just the storm" she tried to catch her breath, she felt it again, she felt a piercing gaze over her "Who's there" she switched the lights on good thing the storm did not disrupt electricity and the darkness vanished she was all alone in her room but she could have sworn someone was there watching her,she felt cold she covered her self and tried to go back to sleep but she left the lights on. Another thunder clap startled her, could this night get any worse? Keith watched her fight sleep and eventually gave up to its comfort,she noticed his presence again, fascinating,he wanted to pull her hair from her face and stroke her long black hair that covered the pillow, magnificent, lords would have fought for a painting of her hanging on their wall. her lashes were long and scanty her chin perfectly carved ,she looked like one who basks in the purest fountain of heaven,she squirmed like a baby,he smirked, such innocence.... he wanted to touch her hair badly,what is it about her hair,it keeps enticing him, drawing him, captivating him. "Adorable" he whispered her eyes flickered and was wide open staring right at him,his heart stopped, did she just....is she seeing him,how can she see him,what is she, she stared directly at him.....
