A few minutes earlier, Shadrach has taken the liberty of calling his NASA supervisor and reported the situation. He narrated to him that there is q sniper somewhere hidden, shooting at the apartment and have already injured a trusted colleague of his. He however did not tell him that the colleague is Reece Mallory. The same one from the news that was declared the arson and murder suspect by the Pasadena police department.

Shadrach has pleaded his supervisor that they need an immediate SWAT extraction with bullet shields and a van to take them to NASA's secure jet hanger where a jet would evacuate them to a safe house in Texas.

Agent Stone on the other hand knows better than to try engaging an entire SWAT team.

“I may be an elite assassin but I an entire SWAT team is a no go zone. Even if I could finish them up and complete my mission, HQ will burn me without hesitation to lay the blame and prevent any form of investigation that may potentially lead to them.

Instead, Agent Stone got in his car and start to stealthily follow the SWAT van to the private hanger. Once the van was inside, the two were quickly swapped out of the van and onto the plane, in similar fashion as when they were put into the van, with a wall of shields around them.

Outside of the hanger, Agent Stone waited until the plane has left the hanger before sneaking in under the cover of the night and attacking the only flight officer in the hanger. After he successfully captured and tied him up, he beat information about the plane's destination out of him and left the hanger.

Back in his car, Agent Stone pulled out his phone and dialed in for HQ. The phone rang and three beeps followed.

“This is agent Stone, code Triple zero six reporting mission update”. He said.

“Go on Stone, what is your update?” The man with the accent asked.

“I was able to track down Dr. Mallory Reece to an apartment of her friend’s in the coast of San Diego California, but unfortunately, her friend Shadrach Anthony is a NASA astronaut under protective custody for the sensitivity of his current research. After missing a few long range shots with my riffle, he must have made a few calls and have them evacuate by a SWAT team to a private hanger, before taking off on a NASA jet ten minutes ago. They will be landing in Houston in the next three and a half hours” the agent said.

“Good job tracking her down stone, we were cracking our heads here trying to do so. Be advised, I have sent an evacuation chopper for you to be transported to the nearest airport to be on the next commercial flight to Houston Texas. The conditions of the mission have been changed and this makes the mission even more difficult because our customer wants her alive now that she is in Texas; the reward has been tripled and the restrictions on your resource utilization has been lifted. Do you accept this new mission?”. The man with the accent asked.
