I moan placing my feet into the cool water.
" Better ?" Erik asks smiling at me.
" Yeah." I whisper moving my feet around in the water.
Silence sat between us. Quiet and calm. I love silence , it gives me a familiar feeling. Maybe the silence I've endured from being locked into dungeons and room for months with no human contact.
At first , it becomes painful to stay by yourself. To stay quiet and be silent but once you realize how peaceful it is , you'll crave for it.
" Amber." Erik snaps shaking my shoulder.
" Huh." I gasp.
" I was asking you something." he says raising an eyebrow at me.
" Uhh sorry." I whisper tucking a few loose strands of hair behind my ear.
I just want to be left . . . alone. They weren't there when I needed them
