Chapter 4 ( Truth Unlocked)

I looked at my parents and walked off to the room that would most defiantly be mint and Codi's once the blood results came back. I changed into my pajamas and crawled into bed and sleep overtook me so easily.

Codi's POV

I waited till Lizzy got up to my room. Well I guess you could say our room now. Once she was inside, I walked back down to my parents. "Will one of you tell me exactly what the f**k is going on here? My sister is my mate, but oh wait, she may not be my sister. You didn't feel the need to tell us before now. We could have done this blood work when you first thought this could even be a possibility. But no, instead you have continued to tell us to hide our feelings and, Mom, you told us to ignore the sparks. The mate pull started when we turned 18 and instead of even saying something, then you still didn't say anything. No, let us think something is seriously wrong with us." I said. I looked both of them dead in their faces.

"Codi we had to put all of the children from all of the pack in a room together. We marked you and your sister with a black ribbon. When the war was over, we went back to retrieve you and your sister. The ribbon was next to her as it may have fallen off and Atrayus didn't even have a ribbon the Alpha children to be marked, but if the blood work comes back the way I think it will. He is the lost son of the Darkwood pack and they have our daughter." my mother said.

"So you mean to me that Lizzy is the possibly the true daughter of the Darkwood pack. That would explain the nightmares. They were attacked first before you all got together, right? I don't know how she would remember any of it but apparently she has and now she is my mate. What will do if they are their children? Will they demand that we send her home? I will not be without her. She is already my life and the air I breathe. I know that I can not and will not live without her." I tell them.

" She is your mate and they can not take her if she is your mate and as long as she accepts you. She will be the Luna of Blackwood and she will be protected by our whole pack. She has always been a part of this pack and will always be." My father stated.

"Codi, you need to go to the room now. Nora told me that Lizzy is starting to have a nightmare. If you get there now, you should be able to stop it." Jaxson told me. I looked at my dad and told him. "I need to go to Lizzy, she is starting to have a nightmare. I will see you in the morning to settle this."

I walked into the room and she had started to stir. I changed into my sleeping shorts as quickly as I could and crawled into bed, pulled her close and whispered in her ear. "I am here. I got you. It will be okay." She calms the minute I start to speak like always. She wakes and looks me in the eye and kisses me for the first time ever. I feel sparks run through me and it's like my whole life is perfect in that moment. I look at her and tell her, "I Codi Blackwood accept you Elizabeth Blackwood as my mate and Luna." She looks a little surprised. And responds with "I, Elizabeth Blackwood, accept you Codi Blackwood, as my mate and Alpha." I feel our bond and mind link tether together. We kiss again and fall asleep in each others arms. I had the best sleep I have ever experienced.

I awake and Lizzy is just looking at me like she is trying to memorize my face. "Good morning Lizzy, how did you sleep? I have so much I need to tell you." I told her everything that Mom and dad told me last night. "So now that I have accepted you as my mate they can't take me, right?" she asked. "Yes, that is right. You will be our Luna and the Sapphire Wolf. We will find out everything we need to know. And Atryus will have to go back to Darkwood," I said. And then there is a knock at the door. "Come in", I yelled. Mom and Dad both walked in. "The blood results are back. I look at Lizzy. "It's only been six hours," She says. "Yes I know but the doctor has gotten them back faster then he thought.," Dad says. We walked downstairs and they were all waiting.
