Chapter 5 (The Results)

Lizzy POV

I walked downstairs and I saw three people I didn't know standing in the den, as well as Gamma Cole. "Mother, who the hell are these people and why are they here right now?" I asked. "These are Alpha Don, Luna Janice, and their daughter Maira Darkwood of the Darkwood pack. I called their Luna first thing last night and they drove straight here once we got off the phone. They donated blood as well for the DNA test as soon as they arrived. Now the doctor has the results and we shall see." my mother responded. I sat in Codi's lap and cuddled in his arms. I heard Alpha Don growl lowly. I looked at him. "This is Codi, my mate, and we have accepted the bond. So I would appreciate it if you didn't growl at him again because Nora doesn't like it and I am not responsible if she takes over." I said, not knowing my eyes were glowing blue. Everyone looked at me and took a step back. "Now Doctor Edison, will you give us the results? Please?" I said as nicely as I could. Everyone sits down and he stands in front of us. Doctor Edison is world renowned. We were lucky his mate Ava was a member of our pack, so he chose to settle down here.

"The results are back. We shall start with Codi because he was actually born first. He is in fact the son of the Blackwoods, whom we knew. Maria is the next in line and she is also the daughter of the Blackwoods. Atrayus, you are next, you are in fact the lost son of the Darkwoods. Gamma looks hurt and happy at the same time. Atrayus stands there in shock, then all of a sudden the Darkwoods take him in their arms and hold him. I look at the doctor like come on now. Elizabeth, your results show that you are in fact the daughter of the Darkwoods. And the results also show that Atrayus and Lizzy are both Crystal wolves. I would like to run further test on both of you. If that is okay with you?" he finishes.

No one is surprised by the results except Maria. She looks like she has seen the best person in the world. All of the sudden, Atrayus and Maria looked into each others eyes. "Mate." they both said at the same time. Just when you think there is no more surprises, I am slapped straight in the face with one. All of the parents look at each other and laugh. "Of course, both our children would mate with each other, damn twin thing. Am I right?" my dad said jokingly. We all sit down and Codi starts the conversation like always.

Codi's POV

"So you know that Lizzy and I are mated and she has accepted the bond, which means she is now the Luna of Blackwood. And apparently, Maria and Atrayus are mated. That means they are the Alpha and Luna of Darkwood. So that means she stays here and Atrayus is to just up and leave his life here to go there. What does this mean exactly for them and us. Because Lizzy is my world and has always been. We have felt our bond for over seven years. It started when we were 14. It was the first time she had tried to stay in her room alone for the first time. And it, of course, didn't work. I will not put her through that again. Where ever she goes, I go." I say without missing a beat. Everyone looked at me. The first to speak is actually Luna Janice. "We do not wish to force anyone to do anything. With that being said, Daniel, I mean Atrayus will eventually have to return to Darkwood. You see we have no other children and Maria has been trained to take over the roll and will have to. Because Lizzy is your mate and will be your Luna. We know that Atrayus has a life here and from what the Gamma has told us that he is well trained in combat and will need some Alphaa training with Maria at his side, he will most definitely succeed." She said.

"I would like a week to say goodbye to everyone and spend some time with my siblings. And the Gamma and mom I have always known I was adopted, but they are the only parents I have ever known." Atrayus said.

"I would like for the Darkwoods to stay here during that time so that I can get to know them. They will never replace mom and dad but I would like to know them as people." Lizzy said, surprising me out of nowhere. She usually lets me do the talking.
