Lily's POV
I was disappointed to say the least when the alpha did not even touch me when he escorted me to the executive suite. I tried convincing myself, maybe he is waiting for the mating ceremony. Yes, that must be it. Or else why would he agree to marry me.
So what if he was mated to that bloody rogue, even the moon goddess could be blind and make mistakes sometimes. Ian is not only just an alpha but controls the fire element, he is so powerful and only I can match his stature. I am the alpha's daughter! That alone sends shivers down the normal wolves. But I also have a little secret. I have recently discovered that I can control a little bit of the wind element. It was not anything too big at the moment. Just making circles with the winds and little whirlpools but its a start. It has been an ancient tradition of alpha passing down their elemental controlling abilities to the next in throne ones. There has never been a record in the history of a female wolf control such abilities.
'I must be special. My alpha, we are meant to be', I whispered as I got lost into my thoughts.
Sarah's POV
I was starting to get agitated by the way I was being treated. Damien practically had me in bed arrest. He would not let me go anywhere.
'Alpha's command', I mimicked Damien's voice.
'Well go to hell you arrogant pricks', I cursed and hissed. 'Holy s**t, I am turning into my old boss cranky Tom'.
Someone knocked on the door distracting me from my train of thoughts. Before I could even say come in which I was not going to, Damien walked in.
'We need to leave, rogue', He commanded.
'Aw sweet pea, how about a no', I replied not glancing at him one bit.
' I was not asking', he said as he grabbed me by my right hand and dragged me off bed. Man, was he strong. Resisting was no of use. Might as well give in.
'Fine!, Let me walk on my own', I said in defeat. 'But where are we going anyways?'
Damien remained quiet as we walked towards the two cars parked outside the hotel. It looked like an expensive sports car with a branded logo I did not recognise. 'Those cars probably costed more than my life', I tried to joke with Selene. She still had the mind block up. One heck of a stubborn wolf she is.
Then I saw him, Ian leaning against one of the sporty black cars with his hair pushed back and looking godly as ever. He smirked in my direction when he saw me. My heart skipped a beat despite me attempting to hate him. 'Damn it, you mate bond'.
'Hey there mate', I heard his deep soothing voice. The word especially made me so excited and happy, I literally wanted to jump on him and give him my womanhood. I blushed as I just realised how vulgar my thoughts were. 'Womanhood? Seriously Sarah? Way to go', I thought to myself disappointingly.
But then I saw his fiancée standing behind him proudly. She looked pretty in a pink floral dress and her brunette hair was wavy and flowy which suited her floral look. I tried not to be jealous but then I saw the engagement ring. Instantly, I felt like thousands of knives were stabbing me at the same time. Why did I feel so hurt. 'I only met Ian recently', I asked myself as I tried fighting the tears that were building up.
Ian then called Damien over and the two men had a chat. With that he opened the doors for Lily and speeded off. Damien gestured me to get in the second car. I obeyed silently as I did not have any energy left to fight. What was the point anyways? Even if Ian was not an alpha, he is still a billionaire. Even if I tried to hide, he can always track me down. He is a royalty in politics, business and I doubt even law enforcements. I did not wanted to risk the safety of my aunt and uncle. Those old souls deserved to retire peacefully instead of having to plan an escape for me.
'This must be my fate', I weakly smiled to myself as Damien started the car and followed the same route Ian had left in earlier.
---Entering the fire warrior pack---
I got woken up by a loud thud. I looked around to see Damien was unloading some bags and items. I guess we have arrived at our destination, if only if I knew where it was. I got out of the car and tried having a look around. We were outside the biggest mansion I have ever seen in my entire life. Words could not describe how magnificent and beautiful this mansion was. It was painted white and had a glossy shine. There were huge staircase entrances into it. I opened my mouth in shock and awe. 'WOW'
'Close your big mouth or flies will get in', Selene snickered.
'Oh so you are finally talking to me?'
'You wish', she said and gave me a evil maniacal laugh before putting up the mind block again. Her laugh made me shudder.
'Hey rogue, this way', Damien said in a monotonous tone.
'Were you not calling me your alpha's mate few days ago. Why call me a rogue now?', I said in the meanest tone I had.
'Alpha's command', Damien said.
I would have mimicked him earlier but it hurt me this time. My mate was telling people to call me a rogue? Tears started trickling down my face. My whole life. I have been bullied and lead a hard life. I promised my aunt and uncle that I will live a happy life if they were not around anymore. Those poor old souls would never be able to rest in peace if they found out I was being treated like a dirt by my very own mate. I will be strong for them.
'I cannot let them know about my current situation', I told myself full of determination. With that, I followed Damien as I got quickly showed around the mansion. 'Great tour guide he was'. Randomly pointing at rooms and saying 'I don't know what that one is for or that one. This one too'. I had a knack that he was very bad with directions. And I was right, we did two rounds in the north side of the mansion before he was finally able to find my allocated room.
'Wow, thanks for the amazing tour. I would have tipped you a cent if I still had my purse', I said it in a sarcastic tone.
Damien still had a blank face hearing my remarks. 'There will be a omega who will soon show you the work and things you need to do'.
'WAIT', I said. 'What work??'.
Damien again ignored me as he close the door shut.
'F**k'
I looked around my room. It was spacious and had a queen sized bed in the centre of the carpet. I huffed and walked towards it. I am pretty sure Damien said work. So I should use all the rest I could get for now.
Ian's POV
I was getting restless. I knew I was not treating my mate right. But I did not have any choice. My pack would never accept a rogue as their Luna. And I would be a fool to choose my mate over my pack. My pack has been the strongest since generations even winning the great battle between four brothers. My great grandfather, the fire king won the war easily because his strength and power was unparalleled for. But why did I suddenly feel weak in front of Sarah.
When Lily suggested sending Sarah away, I was dangerously blinded by anger. I tried to control my wolf. My wolf wanted to kill anyone who even thought of sending Sarah away. She was our mate after all.
Lily must have seen me trying to fight control with my wolf and my anger because she stopped suggesting anything like that again.
To make sure Lily still felt valued as my future Luna, I asked her she can assign Sarah to do anything here. 'Make her work like the other omegas', was her reply. 'She is a rogue after all'.
I did not say anything. It hurt like hell but Sarah could never be a Luna. 'Very well', I said in a dead tone.
