"Putang ina!" Iyon agad ang pambungad ko nang madatnan ang kaibigan ko. Sunod-sunod naman na singhap ang narinig ko mula sa aking likod.
"Shaunty!"
"What happened... Oh my!" Napatili si Pin.
Our friend is lying on the floor motionless. Mabilis namin siyang dinalohan. She reeks with alcohol but it's not our main concern, her wrist is bleeding!
"Tumawag kayo ng ambulansya!" Hysteria ni Lete.
"Shaunty please hang on." Umiiyak na si Merky. I remain non-moving. I don't know how to react. My fingers formed into a ball. Nagtagis ang bagang ko.
It did not take long at dumating ang ambulance. Paramedics take her to the ambulance nakasunod naman kami. Si Lete na ang sumama sa ambulance. Merky, Pin and me rode the car. Ako na ang nagdrive because both of them are crying. Mabilis ang pagmamaneho ko. Habang nasa sasakyan ay hindi ako mapakali.
Why would she do that to herself?
Nang makarating sa ospital mabilis kaming umibis at dumiretso sa Emergency room. Panay ang hagolgol ni Merky at Pin.
The doctor attended to Shaunty immediately. Mabuti na lang at hindi gaanong malalim ang sugat niya at hindi maraming dugo ang nawala sa kanya. All of us are worried. Shaunty is still unconscious.
It's also a good thing that we came to her unit to check on her. They keep on contacting her for days pero hindi ito sumasagot. Hindi din ito pumapasok sa kanyang restaurant. Kinabahan na kami.
"Thank you doc." We thanked the doctor after making sure na maayos na ang lagay ni Shaunty. She is already transferred to her private room.
"Ano, shall we call her family?" Nagdadalawang isip na sabi ni Merky.
"I don't know?" Pin answered.
Habang patuloy silang nag-iisip sa kung ano ang dapat gawin ay tumayo ako mula sa pagkakaupo. I walk to the door. Nabaling naman ang atensyon nila sa akin.
"Oh saan ka pupunta?" Tanong ni Lete.
"Sa puno't dulo nito." I said in gritted teeth.
Isa lang naman ang maaring dahilan para saktan ni Shaunty ang sarili niya.
"s**t!" Merky muttered.
"Anong gagawin mo?" - Pin
"Beh, kumalma ka muna." - Lete
Surely, they have a hint of what's going on inside my head. Hindi ko na sila pinakinggan and went straight out. Nakasunod sa akin si Pin at Merky. They want to stop me but they know very well that they can't.
Sumakay ako sa sasakyan ni Pin. Nasa back seat silang dalawa.
I started the engine and drive like a mad man. I am furious kahit na mukha akong kalmado.
"Beh, relax lang naman." Pakiusap ni Merky.
Mahigpit ang hawak ko sa manibela.
We reached the party district. I stop the car in front of a bar kung nasaan ang sadya ko. I parked the car and went out. Nakasunod parin ang dalawa. Pumasok kami sa bar. Sinalubong agad kami ng ingay at ang nagsasayawang neon lights.
Lahat nang nadadaanan ko ay napapatingin sa akin. They have this ridiculed look on their faces. Oh, I know why. But the hell I care. Wala silang pakialam kung naka-pajama ako!
"Beh, sigurado ka na dito?" Apila ni Pin.
"Umuwi na lang tayo Beh baka gising na si Shaunty." They keep on convincing me but I am determined. I won't be at ease hanggang hindi ko ito nagagawa.
Puno ang bar ng mga tao. Since this is the peak hour ay hindi nq nakakapagtaka pa
Inilibot ko ang tingin ko sa dagat ng mga tao. I know the bastard is here.
Siguradong that chauvinistic pig is the reason para magawang saktan ni Shaunty ang sarili niya.
Nagngingitngit ang kalooban ko.
Mula sa dance floor ay lumipat ang tingin ko mahahabang couch. I surveyed the people sitting there. I can already see red when finally, I spotted ang sadya ko dito.
There is the bastard sitting like a king on one of the couch habang may kalandiang babae. Nakakandang ang babae sa kanya habang tumatawa ito sa kung ano mang pinagbubulongan nila. Nasa leeg ng babae ang mukha niya.
I clenched my fist. Mabibilis ang hakbang ko advancing to that direction. Hinawi ko ang mga nakaharang sa dinadaanan ko.
The other men in that couch look appalled as I approach, habang ang tarantado tuloy lang sa kalandian.
"Puta!" I grabbed the girl on his lap. Napatili ito at nahulog sa pagkakaupo. The bastard just frowned habang sinusuri ang kabuo-an ko.
"Beh!" Merky and Pin chorused.
"What the hell?" The bastard hissed, surprised with what I did. Ngumisi ako.
"What the hell?!" I said sarcastically then lift my fist.
"This is hell." I punched him straight to the face and he was too caught off guard. I heard gasped and the loud music suddenly faded.
The hell I care! I launched another punch and a kick straight to his balls. Napaawang ang labi niya.
"f**k!" Someone from the group cursed.
"Hala girl!" Tili ni Merky.
"Don't you dare stop me." Babala ko sa dalawang kasama.
Wala akong maramdaman kung hindi galit para isang kagaya niyang gago. Male who only know how to get women and damp them when they're no longer interested. They think they are gift to women, when in fact isa silang mga salot.
They don't anything aside from breaking hearts and hymen. Asshole fuckboys! I loathe them to the core. Mamatay na sana sila!
"The f**k woman!" Namimilipit na sabi ng tarantado.
I have this smug look on my face, satisfied with what I did.
"Stop her." Sabi ng isa sa mga lalaki na nasa couch.
"Ayoko. I don't want to die." Said the other guy.
Obviously, I already caused a scene wala naman akong pakialam. My main concern is my seething anger towards the bastard. The reason na nasa ospital ngayon ang kaibigan ko. I can beat him to pulp. I was about to punch him again when I heard Pin talk.
"Beh hindi si Luffer yan!" She yelled hysterically. Nabitin sa ere ang ang suntok ko.
"Ano?" I turned my back drastically. The both of them look horrified and constipated. Kumunot ang noo ko.
Did I heard her right?
"Pinsan lang yan ni Luffer. Although, magkamukha sila." Merky explained. I frowned even more.
Binalingan ko ng tingin ang tarantado. Gone is his shock expression. Madilim na ang tingin niya sa akin. I can almost guess that he is capable of hurting me. I braced myself never wanting to be intimidated kahit na his towering over me.
"Are you kidding me?" I said, now confused. Para akong nahimasmasan.
Sobrang tahimik ng bar. Lahat ng mata ay nasa akin.
"What's going on?" Biglang sabi ng isang baritonong boses. I turned my back because he sounded familiar.
Nanlalaki ang mga mata ko nang makilala ito. What the f**k!
"Hala ka Luffer." One of the man in the couch said.
"What? Ano bang kagulohan to?" He man looks confused.
"What the hell!" I cursed.
"Eufi?" The man who just entered the scene noticed me. "What are you doing here?" Napangiwi pa ito.
Binalingan ko iyong lalaki na binugbog ko. I noticed the scar on his brows. My mouth slightly parted. Oh no!
"You will pay woman!" Parang kulog ang boses nito. I was taken a back, a bit.
He is not Luffer Casrojas!
"Anong nangyari sayo pinsan?" I heard the true Luffer asked, he move his gaze to the guy on my back.
Who the f**k is this guy?
Tinapangan ko ang itsura ko. I won't be rattled. Ano naman kung hindi siya si Luffer? I am sure this guy is a bastard too.
"Oh edi, sorry! Tao lang nagkakamali." I said sarcastically and turned my back because honestly, his brooding stare is creeping me out.
Escapo na this! s**t!
"Where do you think you're going?" Angil nito.
I faced the true Luffer. Nakakunot na ang noo nito. I raised my fist and punched him with all my might sabay tuhod sakanya.
"That's for breaking our Shaunty!"
Nagulantang na naman ang lahat. So I took the opportunity to escape.
Shit naman! What have I done? I can be sued for punching the wrong guy.
Nang makalayo sa kumpulan ay tumakbo na ako ng mabilis at baka maabutan pa ako. I am sure they will chase me. Si Luffer ang may ari nitong bar for pete's sake!
"Beh sandali!" Sigaw nila Pin at Merky.
Mabilis silang nakasunod sa akin. My eyes flew to where I parked the car. Nang mahanap ito ay mabilis kong binuksan ang pinto sa driver’s seat at sumakay.
Putang ina talaga! Ang bilis ng kabog ng dibdib ko.
