Run, Girl, Run

PROLOGUE   In one snap things can change. Ang simple at tahimik na buhay pwedeng magulo sa isang tweak lang. It's a given fact but I have never realized that until meeting that someone.   He claimed to like me after I punched him in the face and in the gut. I was like, what the hell? And coming from a fuckboy?   I hated the likes of him for several unnamed reasons. Hindi naman ako naloko at mas lalong wala akong balak magpaloko.   I have met and even friends with male who loves playing with girls but this one is... I don't even know how to rate him. He is a persistent flirt!   Akala ko ay makukuha siya sa isang taboy o kahit sa pangalawa but damn, he is just all over the place. Pakalat-kalat, para bang ang tanging misyon niya sa buhay ay pestihin ako.   "I am trying to get your attention." Sabi niya. He doesn't seem sure with what he said. Talaga lang ha? Well, if that's the case you really got my attention bastard and now I am pissed!   "You got my attention now. Then what?" Hamon ko sa kanya. Although, he does not look convinced with what I said.   "Go out with me." Diretsahan niyang sabi.   I laugh out loud, iyong nakaka-insulto talaga. His forehead knotted as expected. Halos magdugtong ang kilay niya.   "Woah... woah... easy there dude." I tried to calm myself from laughing. "Okay..." I straightened my face.   "Sabihin na lang nating totoo nga na gusto mo ako, which by the way I think is unbelievable..."   The question is why me? Surely, many girls flock on his feet. Why would he waste his time for me. I am not a celebrity nor a socialite. What's interesting about me?   "But... it doesn't mean I would go out with you mister." Ano nga ba kasing pangalan niya? Ang naalala ko lang mahirap itong bigkasin. But I remember he has a nick name hindi ko lang din maalala. Oh well, who cares anyway.   Napanganga naman siya. He looks insulted. Nagbunyi ang bruha sa isip ko.   "If you are doing this just for me to go out with you, nah-ah. I won’t fall for that." I said in a tone na parang konsensya.   "Kung gusto mong magaksaya ng panahon at oras, then go ahead, be my guest." I smirk.   Oh, I love crushing male's ego like his ego. Hindi lingid sa kaalaman ko that men who tried to date me before spread negative rumors about me. I can't blame them tho. Imposibleng wala siyang nabalitaan.   Sandali siyang natigilan. Maybe he is weighing if this game is worth pursuing or not. I turned my back against him, heads up and started walking away.   "Euphorbia Yllana Magsino." I stop mid track when he called me by my full name. I grimace.   "I will make you fall for me. Mark my words honey." He said in a serious tone.   I did not dare look back to see his expression. I arched my brow. So your determined huh? You're really up to something at sisiguradohin kong malalaman ko iyon.   "Good luck then." I said smugly as I started walking again with my heart beating wildly.   I was confident that he's just like the others. Iyong magaling lang sa umpisa. Kapag naglaon at hindi parin ako nakukuha ay titigil na. I'll be rude and cold, and then, that's it. They are done!   It used to work... but not for him.   "Nakakapagod ka na. Hindi ka pa ba tapos sa plano mo?" I said in resigned tone.   "Dalawa lang naman kasi to eh. Una, is this a cliché revenge plot? Iyong kunware papaibigin mo ako tapos pag na in love na ako iiwan mo ako bilang revenge dahil sa pagsapak ko sayo." Parang gutso kong masuka sa mga pinagsasabi ko. "Hindi ba masyadong overated na iyon?"   Huminga muna ako ng malalim bago nagpatuloy. Nakaka-amaze ang pagka-kalma ko ngayon. Ito na siguro ang resulta ng isang buwang pagninilay-nilay ko sa harap ng umaandar na washing machine.   "Pangalawa, are you doing this to get into my pants? Because obviously, ang lame. Alam kong maganda ako medyo sexy..." Hindi naman sa pagbubuhat ng bangko. "but then, it's not enough para sa mga pinaggagawa mo noong isang buwan at ngayon. For sure many willing p***y are waiting to be f****d out there." I said without blinking.   Napatanga naman siya sa akin. Nabato-balani siguro but seriously sumasakit na ang ulo ko sa kanya.   "Mayroon pang pangatlo." Sabi niya. I raised a brow.   "Pangatlo?"   "Gusto kita. Plain and simple. Bakit ba hindi mo maintindihan?" Nakasigaw na siya niyan. Napapalatak ako. I opened my mouth to say something pero sinara ko din nang walang lumabas.   "Date me Euphorbia. Date me for real no more antics, no more hiding." He said that na parang hinahamon ako.   "Ayoko." I said firmly but at the back of my mind, why not?   "Tell me one acceptable reason why." Hamon niya.   "May boyfriend ako." My last card, I hope it works.   "Sino, iyong kasama mo?" He said that with a mapang-uyam tone.   "O-oo!" I said in high pitch tone. Darn it! I stuttered.   "You think I care?"   I was appalled. That was supposed to be the end of discussion. He can't be serious!   I was lost for words.   "Nababaliw ka na!" I said in disbelief napapailing pa ako.   He smirked.   He is unbelievable! If he won't give up anytime soon... I guess, I should be running...
