An invisible thread connects those who are destined to meet, regardless of time or circumstance. The thread may stretch or tangle, but it will never break. But sometimes, destiny has its own cruel games to play.

People briskly walking..

Some saunter, some strides long with ample quickness.

But here I am, still undecided if I should go forward with it or not.

Am I ready to face the world again?

I've been broken, bruised and crushed with my own self-loathing ideas.

Guilt eats the majority of my well-being. Will this project benefit my interest?

I was lost in my own world as I walked in a slow steady pace within the airport grounds, still unable to make up my mind when my phone rings.

"Hello? Sawadee krub uncle."

I answered.

"Raki, where are you? My driver is on the way to pick you up. Have you landed already?"

"Yes uncle, I just arrived."

"I am so happy that finally, you agreed to my request, I really need your help. Thank you, I'll send you the driver's contact info. See you son."

"Welcome uncle, and See you."

After I dropped the call, I looked at the photo uncle sent me six months ago. Something familiar thugs at my chest, still unable to control my raging heart after all this time.

This is not her..this is not my Nattarin..

I tried to convince myself for the longest time.

But what if it was her?

A small voice inside my head questions my settlement.

Protect…keep her safe. Claim what was yours...

A low growl emanated from deep down my chest. Six months and I'm still arguing with myself. I let out a deep sigh as I received the driver's contact details.

Fuck it.

Never in my wildest dreams that on this day, will I meet the woman who would make me question both my sanity and resolve. The same girl that caused me the most excruciating pain I have experienced in my life yet I kept coming back for more.

Like a moth to a flame, I'm addicted. This day, I will meet the person responsible for that and I am not even complaining.
