CynthiaI must’ve lost at least ten pounds in one day. In sweat. The first final I had to take went okayish, considering I barely slept the last couple of days and had almost no time to study. That accounted for the first two pounds of sweat. Walking through a field and avoiding every shadow accounted for the rest.
Vampires walked through shadows. I had learned that much, at least. So, if I wanted to avoid having to bite anyone, shadows at night were not my friends.
