She
"Alarm sounding" beep' beep' beep'
Kila, sweetheart, it's time to get up? That darn thing has been blaring loudly for sometime now?
Kila, Rosy Green I know you hear me while I'm talking to you young lady.
Karin, not being acknowledged at all, finally got the hint. She slowly backed out of the room, closing the door behind her.
As Karin slowly walked down the family's second floor of their penthouse, Karin could not help but feel guilty, for the reason her daughter was treating her and the other members of the family in such a cruel and hurtful way.
Trying to get the thought out of her head well, at least for the time being?
She poured a hot cup of coffee, and she felt the heat begin to enter her mouth.
Closing her eyes at the welcoming of the ever, hot steaming gulp, she swallowed down something she had never done before in all the days of her coffee-loving years.
Kila, get you're stupid butt out of bed this second. What has gotten in to you treating mom like that? You know if dad sees that he will have issues with you, so please stop it while things can still be fixed. Please, Kila, we all love you? Kila, don't you still love us too?
She removed the cover from over her head, revealing the face of a young woman, nineteen or so. Her skin was a beautiful brown sugar color. She had thick jet black hair that was pulled into a wild bun on the top of her head. She was in very good shape, and she was very beautiful, with green and gray eyes, full lips, hips and butt. She was any man's dream wife, well. Well, her and her identical sister Kira.
Only Kira had green and hazel eyes rather than that. No one can tell them apart still to the present day.
Kira, do you hear what your saying right now? Kila Yes, I have grown up? Kila, whether you choose to accept it or not, they are our parents? They have loved us, protected us and, most of all, they never separated us, and your lying here mad at them for not telling us the truth? Well, Kay, I am so sorry that Kathrine and Mack gave you and I such a beautiful life with each other. How dare they make sure that we were never split up and separated? Wow, they are such monsters for loving two girls as much as they love us. How dare they?
Kay, you know that I love you. Looking at us, we are identical, so when I see myself I will always see you, and it pains me, Kay, to see you like this? To have to hear mom repeat herself, please stop making this harder than what it has to be. Get up and get ready. We are leaving in forty-five minutes.
Kila, rolled out of bed and slipped on her slippers, grabbed her clothing she had laid out the night before.
Grabbed, her toothbrush toothpaste.
As she stepped into the hallway she heard sobs coming out the close cracked door of her brother's room.
Peering in through the slit in the door, she sees her mom sitting in the center of her brother's bed clinging to a shirt still stained with the last of his blood. She turns silently and walks into the bathroom.
Kay? Is everything OK?
Yes Kira, I am fine. Just, got a lot on my mind, is all.
And that is OK, I have to go. I don't want to be late for my first lecture.
One last thing, are you going home for lunch? Mom said she needed to talk to us? No, I am staying on campus, Kay please? Kira, please just let it go?
Fine see you right here after school? Sure, whatever.
They departed, going to their first class. "Door creeks" Kira, so kind of you to join the class? And what do I owe your late presence to?
Kira turns and looks at the clock behind her. Mame, I am only two minutes late, so why are you making a big deal about this? Class, Can you help me? One minute to my class is unacceptable, so if you are two minutes later than Reece? Then you should have skipped the class all together. Have a set Kia, and please do not let it happen again because next time i will not allow entry.
Kira sat down, steam flying off the top of her head, but she calmed herself and got through the class without any further accounts.
Kira, hey Brandy, the girls and I wanted to know if you wanted to go to chops and eat? No, I think I'm just going to go sit at Philips and have a super shot of coffee and study for my last class. Want me to come with you? Now I'm fine. I kinda want to be alone, you know, need some time to think a couple of things over? Yeah, I got you well. If you need me or change your mind, call me and I will come back and pick you up. No problem.
Thanks, Brand, no sweat Kay, you're my mega bff. You know that? I know well the girls are waiting to call me if you need anything. Thanks.
Brandy runs and hops in her car and the lady drives off, not before Brandy blows her horn in a gesture of see ya.
Kila, sits at her favorite booth, the one deep in the back where the light of the café barely reaches, and pulls out her geometry book and begins to take notes.
Trying to concentrate, she peers around the room feeling as if someone is watching. Just then her eyes came upon a darkened figure in the further corner of the café. Kila thought to herself she had never noticed that spot in the café, and she had been coming there since her first year in high school.
She turns back around trying to ignore the feeling of being watched. She calls the owner to her?
Ben, hey Kila, what's the matter the coffee is not to your liking? No, the coffee is perfect.
Then is something else the matter?
I'm not trying to complain, but you see the figure in the far corner it seems to be watching me?
And it is making me a little uneasy?
Would you like me to go and see what seems to be the reason? If it's not too much trouble?
For you no trouble at all let me go and see what seems to be the problem no worries I will be right back.
Ben walks away from Kila he was only gone a short spell and when
Ben returned he brought with him and with an expression of drought and confusion Kila are you sure someone was sitting over there?
Yes Ben? Is the figure gone? yes their is no one?
Kila quickly turns around only to find the table empty. She stands and rushes to the now empty table? Ben I am telling the truth someone was just sitting here watching me I'm not making this up Ben? Kila I never said you were who ever it was they long gone now seeing that it seems no one has occupied the table yet. Standing beside her, he looks at her with a concerning smile. Kila, is everything OK? Yes been everything is fine. OK, I have to get back to work. More customers arrive.
Yes, go ahead and thanks anyway, my apologies? None since see you tomorrow miss. Kila yeah ben see you.
Kila made it to the front door and looked back at the empty table once more empty, and she turned and walked back to campus.
After school, the twins met up at the usual spot, but today Kira, was happier than normal? What are you so happy about now? Nothing, dang Kay why are you always in a pissy mood? What? Come on, Kila, let it go. It's not like they lied to us and kidnapped us and touched us and stuff? We have had the greatest life anyone in the world would love to have. We have two loving and supporting parents who have molded us into great people with goals and ambition and who have given us everything our hearts have ever wanted. Kay What more could we have asked for ?
The truth, Just the truth.
