It was already past seven and the car had already arrived for the evening when the masterpiece was completed.
“‘Oh god, Athena’ Look at how gorgeous you are! You are now the most gorgeous lady on the planet that I have ever seen with my own two eyes” Kelly non stop praises as she ran back and fro talking about the makeover.
But she understood her reaction because even she was shocked the moment she saw herself in the mirror. She never thought that a beautiful dress and enough grooming could transform someone.
“Thank you so much Kelly. I really can’t thank you enough for this”. Athena said and Kelly waved her hands at her.
“Athena let’s get down stairs quick that poor guy is waiting for a long time now.” She giggled taking my hand in hers as we walk down stairs
“Miss Athena” chauffer asked and when Athena nodded. He boarded the car.
“Kelly, I’m going now. I‘ll call you okay”. She said and began walking towards the car.
Kelly stood till the car disappeared from the view.
At The Lucifer Hotel.
A large, magnificent ballroom had been set up for what seemed to be a very important high class event. The chandeliers that dangled from the ceiling provided little sparkles of light from one end of the room to other, giving the room a feeling of being under a bright, starry night sky.
Each man and women wore a mask which covered a part of or all of their face, adding even more mystery to the already mysterious identities of the people inside.
She snapped out of her awestruck daze when she saw a man walking around the venue with his camera, quite a tall guy and his muscles clearly can be seen even though he had worn a suit it seems like I have seen him somewhere before.
His camera flash went off moving his camera down. Snap OMG is he that!? Yes, he is The Zeus a well-known Photographer and a model too. I have been crushing on him for almost two years from now, that is before he was famous for his work. I still remember the first time I saw him. I was a just teenager at that time but I couldn’t help it.
Two years ago…
“Mr. Zeus, I really love you!” A woman voice echoed in the dimly lit, Parking lot, startling Athena that her phone almost fell from her hand.
She was just on her way towards her parked car but who would have thought that she would witness a confession in this place?
“What did you say?” Athena heard a cold, husky and deep voice and she flinched even though she was not the one the man was talking too. Perhaps she reacted like that because the man sounded so damn intimating. His tone even seemed heartlessly cold, what seemed like a romantic confession, sounded more like misunderstanding!
“I said I love you,” Athena heard the woman’s voice again, “I love you so much! I already fell for you the first time I saw you.” The woman sounded very much emotional.
Athena held her breath waiting for his response, but only silence followed. She wanted to peek to see who it was but it didn’t seem right the man reply.
“We are done,” That all? Was all he responded causing Athena to gasp in disbelief.
“Wha … What?”
“I won’t repeat myself.”
“Wh …Why? The woman sounded like she was utterly shocked.
“Tell me… What do you want?”
“I have been in love with you since the beginning. I have been your girl for months now but you have never said anything about how you feel about me. Mr. Zeus, all want is you to love me back.”
Athena could tell from the voice of the lady that she was at the verge of breaking down and yet, the man’s voice didn’t soften even a little bit after hearing her, Instead, he sounded even more menacing as he responded to her.
“We are done.”
“'Miss Sara…didn’t you properly read the condition?' It clearly stated that while working if we get physical there would be no affection or love that you can ask. Once you start asking for love the contract will automatically become null and void.”
Athena couldn’t stop herself from taking a peek at them.
When she saw the girl, her hands flew to her own mouth, ‘Isn’t that Sara? The famous model.’
She couldn’t believe her eye, why would a beautiful woman like her beg for a man to love her?
More importantly ... This beautiful diva ...was with some ruthless man's girlfriend?
“I warned you long ago, I don’t love you and ours was a physical relationship?
Athena was shocked to her bones hearing their shocking conversation.” Oh goodness, what are they saying?” She couldn’t believe something as outrageous as this was happening in real life. This was absolute madness to someone like her.
She could tell that the situation was getting worse so she really wanted to leave the place now but if she moved now
They will catch her eavesdropping.
“Please, darling, please listen to me “Sara started yelling of how much she loved him.
“Shut up, and listen to me carefully, you have ten minutes to get out of my face.”
Zeus said with a cold voice, felt annoyed that he was so stupid to feed this b***h for so long and she did not deserve what he gave her.
“No, please, honey, please don’t do this to me.” Sara was crying louder and louder.
“Leave now” Zeus gave her cold gaze.
“No, I am not going anywhere, please darling.”
“Okay, your times up, I have changed my mind.”
Zeus called his bodyguards who were waiting for him.
“Take this b***h out of this place.” Zeus gave his bodyguards an order.
She screamed like crazy with tear all over her face as she was dragged in the car.
Athena was listening to her loud noise.
Bodyguard dragged Sara towards the car.
Finally, the car drove away. She finally came back to her senses and quickly hid herself again.
