Chapter 2 : Goldfish?

“Come out. I know you’re there!” The man ordered and she was so shocked that she just froze for a long while; she knew he was talking to her and she knew that he was a man who didn’t want to repeat himself so holding her breath. She finally stepped out.

As soon as their eyes met, Athena almost gasped, the man before her was so damn good looking. He was tall. He had a strong defined body and masculine jaw line. It was perfection in her eyes. He just looked too good to be true. She was utterly impressed and she had never been impressed by a man beauty like this before. How could a man look this stunning?

No wonder such a beautiful woman like Sara begged for his Love!

But guy was glaring at her and continued to look at her quietly. Athena stood up still with a shocked face, but realizing that she was staring at him without blinking, she then blinked recall her posture and quickly walked straight towards him as his eyes were hostile, making her want to shrink to the floor and disappear. The way he looked at her definitely with the definition of the phrase, ‘if looks could kill’ he perfectly belonged to that category.

Zeus was surprised to see a young girl with mid length hair at that reached her shoulder level; having the courage to even stand before him. She had big glasses on her small face, she seemed shocked to see him, he could tell from her huge black eyes wide opened and her nice full lips were parted before she hurriedly tried to walk away.

“Who are you? A spy? A goldfish?" Athena flinched back from the resentment in his voice.

Athena forced herself to respond to him.

“No, I’m not… why a goldfish?” She shook her head; he moved his feet, walking closer to her.

Every step he took felt like a ticking time bomb to her surprisingly. She was able to hold her ground despite her knees shaking a little. She was surprised to hear him.

“The way your mouth parted is similar to a goldfish stupid and cute.”

‘Did he call me cute …’ (… wait that not the point he also called me stupid too didn’t he?!)

“So did you hear everything?” he asked, He was definitely glaring at her like he wanted to kill her.

“I’m sorry… I didn’t mean to …” Athena answer when the man suddenly raised his hand reaching towards her neck. She flinched in fear as she quickly shut her eyes, thinking that the man would kill her.
