It was early in the morning and Yixing had taken the tests for his condition. He was waiting for the results together with his sister, Lily. If it was the usual he would continue his medication, if not he would still be hospitalized until his condition was stable. Yixing and Lily were in his room and talking about how the shops were doing. As they were still talking the door was opened, the two looked at the door and met with doctor Wang coming in. He (Dr. Wang) froze when he saw Yixing looking at him. He managed to compose himself and moved closer to them.
Doctor Wang came in front of the siblings and began talking,
Dr. Wang, "....I don't know what to say?!?" The two siblings looked at each other and again at Dr.Wang. 'Here we go' thought Yixing, waiting for the mess. He really wanted to skip this part cuz he had to come up with really good excuse. When I say really good ones I mean really good ones. This was about his whole life and body. The excuses had to match up and with very good reasoning to.
"The results were nothing like how we expected it. It was almost impossible to believe it ourselves"

"It looks like Mr. Luo's condition have been.................." There was a long silence inside the room. Lily was dead nervous as you could somehow see sweat on her forehead. Was his conditioned worsened or was it he could never come back home again? Were the questions stuck in her mind. She was so tensed you could see her body trembling! In the mean time Yixing just sat there and waited for the next word to be said as he was thinking for some good excuses if the answer was what he expected.
"Cured" was the last word and Yixing just......'this is gonna take a while'. Lily was happy but confused at the same time. Her little brother who has spent almost half of his life in hospitals is cured.....out of nowhere? The room was in silence. If silence could kill you couldn't even think of entering this room. Yixing wanted to end the silence in the room as it was beginning to be suffocating.
"Maybe its because you used foreign medicine. The original didn't have any progress, anyway. And I have been in coma for almost a year and a half which can mean the medicine was just doing its job which caused me to sleep that long." said Yixing in the middle of the awkward silence. It got broken when Dr. Wang began speaking as he couldn't take the same silence twice. What he said somehow made sense but at the same time it didn't.
Dr, Wang, " It may be correct! But we can't be too sure. There's no way you could be cured all of sudden. That's why every Monday you should come for a check." He was dead serious about this, as he has been treating Yixing for the past few years.
"A nurse will arrive soon to take care of this and you can leave" Doctor Wang said this while pointing at the IV drop and the heart monitor, "Then I see you next week!"
Yixing nodded, and with that finished up Dr. Wang exited out of the room.
Lily didn't want to think of the confusing facts and situation, she just wanted her brother back home with her. After a little while the same nurse he saw when he woke up walked in the room. She did what the doctor said and left after making sure he was fine.
Yixing will now be Luo Yunxi
Lily, "Now then, let's go home!" She just wanted her brother home, she couldn't wait anymore. It was shocking that he was cured all of sudden but kind of relief too. Since they have been traveling they always had to visit every hospitals. Another reason they chose China was because Yunxi had been accepted in one of the universities many recommended to him, and Lily dreamed about opening her own clothes butique there. Luckily he was on a level of a genius he passed the exam.
It had been a few months before he graduated, thanks for his sister. The two siblings wanted to take a little break, which led them to the villa they had in Netherlands. They would visit and stay there with their parents when they were still alive, it was actually a gift from their grand-parents to their parents and to them.
He studied business as he was determined to help his sister out at the shops. Taking care of two shops alone is very tiring.
"Jiê, do you know where the bathroom is, I need to change? The doctor left before I could ask?" Asked Yunxi looking at Lily who seems to be in deep thoughts.
"It's down the hall, to the right" said Lily while coming out of her thoughts. Yunxi dragged his heavy body from the bed with the help of Lily and slowly walked out of the room, walked to the elevator, down the hall and to the right. Lily gave him a bag of clothes and he left for the bathroom to change.
He haven't called me jiê in years! Maybe this can be good for the both of us! Thought Lily when waiting outside. After about ten minutes Yunxi came out of the bathroom.
She hadn't seen him for a while and he looked very healthy for the first time. His white skin was glowing, red lips smiling and his long black and blond hair stopping at his knees was making him look like the god of beauty. The white loose turtleneck sweater was perfect on his body, accompanied by the black tight jeans. He had grown taller and the jeans was a little short. But it didn't lessen the handsome boy in front of her.
"My baby brother has grown up!" Said Lily hugging him like a teddy bear.
"Jiê, I can't breathe!" Yunxi's voice was husky but she got the suffocating part of it. "Sorry! It's just that I'm happy that you're healthy" Her face was very gentle which made her golden eyes glow more. she was a very doting and a caring sister.
It was a little bit silent, before Lily got to talk! "Now, let's go to the salone!" Said Lily with a happy voice. Yunxi tilted his head in a confusing way, why did he need to go to the salone?
"Why?" Asked Yunxi. Even if he got the body, memories, abilities and personality of the other half of him. He didn't get his feelings! That way he didn't know why he needed to go to the salone.
Lily looked at Yunxi in a confusing way, before answering,
"Because you despise your blonde hair. You always dyed it black to look more like the part of the family since you were little!" Lily didn't know why Yunxi asked. 'Can sleeping for too long cause memory loos?' Thought Lily looking at Yunxi.
Yunxi didn't know what to say! He couldn't dye his hair.
"No! I won't do it anymore" Lily was a little shocked to hear it. But also glad, it's good that he have learnt to accept himself.
"But I would like my original color back. So we can still go to the salone" continued Yunxi. It's not like he wasn't a fan of black, it's just he somehow had the same feelings in his previous life. He was the only one who looked like his mother, it made him isolated from his family. But he learned to accept and appreciate his appearance. Having a different hair color than your whole family doesn't matter, as long as you have the same blood.
Lily nodded and they left the room! On the way out of the hospital almost everyone was looking at them. Lily knew it was because of her brother. While Yunxi thought they were checking out his sister. She was truly beautiful, and the pitch black outfit she was wearing, it made her look flawless. He hadn't looked at his appearance since he came into this era. That's why he didn't know they were literally checking him out.
It was summer in the afternoons. The sky was blue and every tree had bloomed. The little breeze which came by made Yunxi's body shiver. It was summer but his body was still weak after sleeping for so long. He had to continue taking the medicine to strengthen his body. Lily noticed the shivering Yunxi and walked towards the car immediately. She had brought his coat but she had forgotten it in the car.
A/N: The outfit YunXi is wearing!
It didn't take long before they arrived at the salone. The attention was on them but they just wanted to be done with it and go home. It took about 20 minutes and Yunxi got to look at his appearance through the mirror in front of him. It was almost like his old appearance but he appeared more feminine than usual.
But his mother did make his wish come true. Not entirely, but about 95% of it. They were about to leave after entering the car but Lily suggested shopping clothes for him as he had grown taller. If he had known it was going to painful he couldn't have agreed. It took more than four hours of shopping and he couldn't even move his limbs. It was already late and the two just went home.
The car stopped in front of a white luxury house. He couldn't call it a house as it was bigger, a mansion!
The gate opened, Lily parked the car and went inside the house.
It had the warm and homey atmosphere! An old lady appeared and greeted Lily. She looked at the young man beside her and held her breath. Tears began falling down as she hugged the young man.
"Welcome back, YunXi." This old woman was the one who their parents left to take care of them. She considered them as her own grandchildren and the siblings like their own grandma. Their grandparents passed away when they was very young. They meet her when she was on the streets! She told them her story and tok her inn. She wanted to repay them by working for them, but they refused. They had other workers to do the works, they aren't that heartless towards a granny. She just serves the two only as she is old and the other jobs are difficult considering her age.
She once lived together with her sons family who had died in an accident. She didn't have the money to pay the bills as they were renting it. The owner threw her out without considering anything. She had no one as her son was the only child.
She came together with the two siblings since she was very worried, even though she could leave she stayed taking care of Lily. When Yunxi collapsed Lily would take care of him everyday which led to forget taking care of herself.
"Thank you, Nâinai"
"Would you like anything to eat?" Asked the granny. She was very happy to see Yunxi again. He looked very healthy. She wanted to ask, but she could ask tomorrow as it was late.
"Thank you, but we already ate! But would you mind to prepare a glass of warm milk for both og us. Bring it up in our rooms when finished, and god night" Said Lily. The granny went to the kitchen while Lily went upstairs to rest. Yunxi followed after with the bags in his hands, to his room. He knew where his room was located, the first door to the left upstairs.
He opened the knob and went inside.
He was so tired that he didn't have the energy to look around the room. He put the bags down, beside the bed. He went to the drawer to the right beside the door and took out the pyjamas.
A blue tight which looked like a training short and a white shirt. He didn't know how they were pyjamas but according to the memories it was what the original wore before bed. He went to shower, did his night routine and came back with the pyjamas on.
Short with a white t shirt. The first thing he thought wad he needed new pyjamas. There was no way he bought it himself, his sister did. He didn't want to go through the details about clothes. The granny arrived with the cup of milk and left after saying good night. He drank it, turned the lights off and went to sleep.
This was the start of his new life!
