Chapter 5

Two days after

It was early in the morning, around 8 PM. Yunxi woke up before the alarm could go off, he got out of bed and headed to the bathroom. After about 20 minutes he came back after taking a shower, brushing his teeth and drying his hair. It looked like someone had organized the clothes he had bought yesterday, as there was nothing on the floor. He opened the door to his closet, went deep inside to find an outfit for the day. He picked a grey pant, a black turtleneck sweater, and picked up his cashmere overcoat. He got his phone, the wallet and went downstairs. 

The maid had began to set the breakfast at the table, when she saw Yunxi she greeted him and went back for work. 

"You can eat breakfast first, I will set up the rest" said Yunxi with a smile. It was too early and none of them had eaten. Lily would take a while before coming down as she takes forever getting ready. Since he had some spare times, he went to the backyard. Even though it was 9 PM early in the morning, the sun was high up and it looked fresh and elegant. He walked a few minutes until he was interrupted by the maid, Mei Xiang. 

"Young Master, Miss Luo is waiting for you" told Mei Xiang to Yunxi, but for some reason Yunxi didn't answer.

"Mei Xiang, I've told you not to call me young master, call me Yunxi. You're older than me remember" said Yunxi in a scolding manner. He sounded like a mother scolding her child, which made Mei Xing giggle by thinking of it. 

It looked like she got it, and Yunxi went back. Lily was at the breakfast table and was reading through some documents. He sat on his usual seat and began eating his breakfast. He felt like he had waited in hundred of years! Why does girls take about 1 billion years to get ready.

"Наконец готов (Finally ready)" said YunXi to Lily. 

"Не «наконец готов» меня. Девочки должны не торопиться, готовясь ( 'Don't 'finally ready' me. Girls needs their time to get ready.)"

"...Есть что-нибудь, о чем мне нужно знать, прежде чем я пойду на работу?" (...Is there anything I need to know before I start working?) Asked Yunxi. A lot of time had passed by and he needed to know every details if anything happened.

"Как вы можете думать о работе сейчас? Вы получили вчера выписку, вам нужно расслабиться" (How can you think of work now? You got discharged yesterday, you need to rest), said Lily. She knew he was worried about her for working to much, at two different places. But she also needed him to rest completely and be healthy as a normal person. She got him out of the hospital, she didn't want him back there just because he hadn't rested enough. Anyway her best friends were making sure everything was alright back in China.

"Ладно ладно! Но мы должны уехать в понедельник, я скучаю по Китаю и домой" (OK OK! But we have to leave on Monday, I miss home and China) answered Yunxi back to the worried Lily.

"... Отлично! Но пообещай мне, что ты отдохнешь только в последние три дня?" (... Well! But promise me that you will only rest in the last three days) said Lily. She knew he missed home and all that but he also needed plenty of rest. Its not good for the body to be rushed after being discharged from the hospital.

"Обещаю!!" answered Yunxi back. 

"No Russian! How will you learn Chinese if you just change languages every five seconds...Forget it, just eat breakfast, you need energy and strength" scolded Granny while smacking the siblings on the head. The two siblings looked at each other and began eating. They didn't want to be scolded again, no one wanted to make the granny angry, trust it, you don't want to.

YunXi drank his medicine after breakfast and headed out. 

"Просто собираюсь на проверку. Давайте посмотрим вокруг, когда я вернусь. Мы не вернемся на некоторое время" (Just going for a check-up. Let's take a look around when I get back. We will not be back for a while) said Yunxi exiting the door.

He arrived at the hospital in 10 minutes and had to just wait for his turn. After about 5 minutes of sitting it was his turn, the check up didn't take long. Doctor Wang just asked how he have been after being discharged, like if anything happened or maybe changed.

Doctor Wang, "You look fine and you're body is strengthening, but you still need to take the medicines and come here for check ups, alright?"

"I will leave on Monday, have to go back to China. I will continue the medication and email you if anything has changed" began Yunxi.

"You don't have to. Your doctor in China and I stay in contact, he will inform me of everything" said Doctor Wang. He needed to know everything to be sure if everything was fine, and it was good to have contact with his doctor back in China.

Yunxi nodded and left the room.

He was about to almost leave when he heard yells and cries. He walked towards it and it sounded like a child's. He peeked inside the room and saw a little girl denying being treated for her wound. Two young boys who looked elder than her, were sitting across her, and they had this troubled look on their faces. It looked like they didn't know how to calm down the little girl.

"What's wrong?" Asked Yunxi looking at the troubled look at the nurse. It was very easy to see that she wasn't good with children.

"She won't let me clean her wound. If I don't clean it, it will be infected" said the troubled nurse. She didn't even bother ask if he was an employer or not, she was desperate for help.

Yunxi looked at the little girl who was in tears for the wound on her knee, he walked over and bent down to the little girl's height.

"Hi sweety, can I see where it's hurting?" began Yunxi. The little girl looked at him with her watery big honey-brown eyes. His smile was gentle and he was so beautiful. The little girl stared at him for a few second before removing her little hands from the wound. 

"How about we fix that! It doesn't suit a pretty girl to have a wound on her knee" said Yunxi in a gentle and reassuring tone. The little girl was about to shake her head, but saw him smiling, then she remembered her mother smiling at her, so she nodded her little head. Yunxi lifted her up, sat her on his lap while he sat on the chair she was sitting at. He looked towards the nurse telling her to give him the water, sterilize gauze, mild soap, isopropyl alcohol and tweezers. He rinsed the wound first in clear water to remove any dirt or debris, used isopropyl alcohol to clean the tweezer first and used it to remove the rest of the dirt. To the end Yunxi used a very soft cloth and a mild soap to clean around the wound. He was very careful to not put the soap in the wound by accident. To the end he took out something from his pockets and showed it to the little girl.

"Which one do you want?" asked Yunxi with a cat and strawberry band-aids. The little girl was having a tough time choosing, but in the end she picked the strawberry one. 

Yunxi put it on her knee and got up with the little girl in his arms. 

"Where is your parents?" asked Yunxi. He couldn't see an adult around with the kids. Maybe they were at the hospital for a visit or they just got lost.  The little girl was somehow distracted by something so the boys answered, the one who looked like the eldest said,

"We were just visiting someone here, but this little brat began running around. We can just go back, but thank you for your help" He looked a little bit annoyed but composed himself, he was the mature one, but had that childish vibe around himself, Yunxi giggled a little bit. He put the little girl down and was about to leave, when the little pulled his jacket. "What is your name, mister?" He kneeled down and and told her his name, her eyes were sparkling like stars after getting his name. He left the kids as Lily had texted him that she was outside the building.  He was walking and walked across this man, he felt something but he didn't know. He ignored the weird feeling inside his chest and continued walking.

"The sleeping beauty has awaken" said somebody. That was the first meeting of two souls, but another soul was missing in the meeting, maybe it will find the best time to meet.
