Picnic Date

            Stefan's pov:

            "It is about time, you came." I said to familiar figure standing in my cell. "I needed to be careful. I don't want to be caught and end up in here with you." "Do they suspect you at all?" "No not at all. They still don't know who was helping you. Wont they be surprised, when they find out?" "And how is my favorite couple?" "Last I knew, Nicholai was taking her out on a date today." I made a face at that, going on a date with a human, disgusting. "Well, that is when you will free me from this dungeon. I must get out of here now, they are planning on giving me the true death within the week." "Yes, I know. What do you plan on doing, once your free?" "Well, I should think that's obvious. Kill the King and his pathetic mate." I hated just the thought of them mating. No human should be Queen, it was against everything I stood for. "I will be back later to set you free." And with that the figure left my cell. "Oh, this was going to be fun. Watch out brother, this is going to be your last day on Earth." I laughed in my cell.

            King Nicholai's pov:

            I was in the kitchen, ordering around my slaves to get everything in order for my picnic date today. I was planning on taking her to my special spot. It was a beautiful waterfall, where we could go swimming and then eat a picnic lunch together. I hope she likes it. I have been trying so hard to give her everything she wants out of this courtship. I want to mate her soon. Even though my brother is currently in the dungeon, we still don't know who the spy is. It has been making me feel uneasy, and I could tell Allison has been sensing it. So, I thought we should both get our minds off of him and back to us and what better way than a picnic.

            Allison was currently in her mother's room, I could hear them laughing and talking. I hated to disrupt them, but I needed to tell Allison of my plans for the day. I quickly knocked on the door and Allison's beautiful face greeted me. "Hi my love. May I take you somewhere today?" "Of course, I would love to. Is it another date?" I kissed her forehead. "Yes, it's a date, but different then the last one. A lot less formal. Go get dressed in comfortable clothing." She nodded at me and then went to her mother to give her a hug goodbye. I had already bought her a new swimsuit, so she didn't need to pack hers. I also didn't want to ruin the surprise.

            Allison's pov:

            I was so excited for another date with Nicholai. I was getting dressed in a long, flowy, flowered print skirt and a pink t-shirt, with my sandals, as it was such a lovely day. I took off out of my room and met my gorgeous future mate at the front entrance to the castle. He kissed me and told me that I looked lovely. I blushed and complimented him as well. He was wearing tight black skinny jeans and a white flowy shirt. He looked like a dream. We got into the car and I begged him to tell me where we were going and all he did was grab my hand and shake his head no. I sat in my seat and pouted and he kept giving me side glances and laughing at my behavior. 

            I was looking out of the window, wondering where we was going when he gently squeezed my hand drawing my attention to him. "We are here, my love. This place is very important to me. It is my secret place that I found centuries ago. I come here often to think and I wanted to bring you here to share it with me." I was so honored by what he said. I smiled at him. "Thank you for bringing me here." We pulled up to a beautiful waterfall, I was hypnotized by its beauty. A clear lake was below the waterfall, with flowers and trees all around it. The birds were chirping and there were butterflies floating around with the light breeze that surrounded us. It was a perfect second date and I could see why Nicholai loved it so much.

            I turned to look at Nicholai and saw he was already looking at me with a peaceful smile on his face. "I'm glad you like it. I have been wanting to bring you here for some time now." He said to me as we got out of the car. "It's very beautiful. I just wish I would have brought my swimsuit, I would have loved to go swimming here." He then pulled out a bag that had a swimsuit, swim trunks and two towels in it. Wow, he thought of everything. I kissed him on the cheek and took my swimsuit out of the bag and looked around for somewhere to change. I ran behind some trees and changed my clothes. It was a beautiful one piece suit that was black and had laces that went up the front and tied at the top. The sides of the suit were see through and I felt beautiful in it. I tied my hair up in a pony tail so I could keep it off my face while swimming. When I made my way back to the car, Nicholai was already changed into his trunks. I stopped dead in my tracks at the sight off him. He was wearing black, knee length trunks, but the sight of his toned upper body left me speechless. I got out of my staring when I looked at his face and found him smirking at me. He used his vampire speed to get to me and he wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed me deeply. "You look absolutely stunning, my dear. Let's get into the water, yeah?" I nodded as he led me into the water.

            The water was cool and very relaxing, I loved it. We spent the next hour swimming, splashing each other and kissing. It was magical. We decided to get out and dry off, so we could eat some lunch. I can't believe he packed us a picnic lunch. There was small sandwiches, watermelon, strawberries, potato salad and drinks. It was all very delicious. He also brought himself blood, that he put in a cup for himself to drink. After eating our lunch we rested on the blanket. My back to his chest as he held me around my waist.  We laid out on the blanket watching the waterfall and enjoying each other's company. "Have you given much thought about our mating?" He asked me quietly in my ear. "Yes, I have. My birthday is in two weeks and I will seventeen. We can get mated after my Birthday. I have decided that I am ready to mate you then." He kissed the top of my head. "That's perfect. I can't wait to mate you and start our life together. You will be the perfect Queen to rule by my side." I turned around in his hold, so that I could look at him. I have been wanting to tell him something for the last few days and now I have gathered enough courage to do it. "I love you, my King. I can't wait to be your mate." He stared at me in my eyes and I could see his blinding smile as he held me tighter. "I love you too, my beloved." Then he kissed me with so much passion that it made me weak. If I wasn't already sitting down I would have fallen. 

            We decided it was time to go so we changed back into our clothes and left. I already missed the peacefulness of the waterfall. I wished that we could stay there forever. As if reading my thoughts, Nicholai reached for my hand and kissed my knuckles. "We will come back to the waterfall another time. I promise." I smiled at him and relaxed in my seat for the ride home. I was woken awake by Nicholai gently coaxing me awake. "We're home." He said to me. I stretched and kissed his cheek as I got out of the car. 

            He had to go to his study for an important meeting, so I returned to my room to shower and relax after our beautiful day together. "Hello, pet." I heard as I made my way into my room. I turned and saw Prince Stefan standing in my room by the window. "What are you doing out of your cell? How did you get out?" I questioned him. Another voice was then heard in my room. "That would be my doing, human." I knew that voice and as the figure turned around, I gasped.

            "You? Your the spy?!"
