The Battle of the Brothers

King Nicholai's pov:
I was in pain as Allison made her way over to me. I tried to lift the tree off of me, but with the branch sticking into my stomach it was very difficult. I didn't know what to do, but I knew that whatever I did do I needed to do it quickly. I saw Stefan coming towards us and I needed to defend Allison as she was still very much human. I didn't know what exactly caused her to have my powers, but at that point it really didn't matter. I looked over at Allison and I knew that the only way to save us both was with her help. "Listen love, I need you to concentrate and create a fire ring around us. Can you do that?" I asked her hurriedly. "I think so." She then concentrated and I saw fire coming out of her hand. "Concentrate on making a fire ring." She then started to create a ring of fire surrounding us. "Good job. Now I need your help. I need you to pull the branch out of my stomach, so I can lift this tree off of me." I told her. She nodded at me at the same time I saw Stefan trying to figure out how to get through the fire. Good it was blocking him from us. It hurt and I screamed in pain as she pulled the branch out of me, but once it was out I pushed the tree off of me.
I was very weak after that and I had lost a lot of blood. I was never going to win against my brother in this state. "Quickly, feed from me. You will get your strength back." Allison said to me. I was shocked, but didn't have time to question her. So I quickly pierced her wrist with my fangs and it was the best blood I have ever had. I released her wrist when I felt myself get stronger, but I needed a lot and Allison became much weaker. I gently laid her down as she began to get dizzy. I kissed her head and swore my love to her and then I jumped over the fire to my brother.
"We end this now, brother." I said to him. "Your right. I will." He said to me before he used his telekinesis and threw yet another tree my way. I quickly dodged it and threw a fireball at him. He tried to dodge it, but it grazed his shoulder. He started running at me and I saw him leap into the air. I did the same and we collided in the middle and fell back down to the ground. We both got back up at the same time and proceeded to punch and kick each other. It was a pretty even fight, but I knew that I needed to finish him, so I summoned the air to swirl around him like a tornado. As he was fighting it, I summoned water from the lake nearby. I took the mini tornado away at the same time a big wave of water him. After the wave left him, he was laying on the ground, weakened. I walked over to him expecting to finish it then, but he just looked at me and smirked. At that moment about twenty pointed rocks were hurled at me. I flew up in the air to miss them, when I came back down he sent a boulder my way. I tried to dodge it, but I was not fast enough. The boulder slammed into me and knocked me into a tree. I was trapped in between both the boulder and tree. As Stefan ran to me to punch me, I pushed the boulder out of my way and moved. He ended up hitting the tree instead. I immediately went to him and flipped him so his back was against the tree. I slammed him into the tree with my fingers wrapped around his throat. "Goodbye brother." He then burst into flames. I let go of him and sighed. It was over.
I went over to the fire ring and made it go down so I could get my beloved Allison. I found her laying where I had left her, completely unharmed. I sighed in relief as I picked her up bridal style and used my vampire speed to get back to the castle. Once inside I was swarmed by the guards, Sarah and Rachel. "She is fine, but she needs to rest. Cassandra and Stefan are both dead. There is no more threat." I said to all of them as I made my way up to my room. I wanted her to rest in the room with me. I almost lost her too many times to be separated from her for even a moment. I gently laid her in my bed and I went to my closet and found a long t shirt for her to put on. I took off my clothes and changed into my boxers and a pair of pajama pants. I did not want to disrespect her by changing her clothes, but I thought my shirt would be more comfortable for her. I used my vampire speed to quickly change her clothes, so that I would not be tempted to really look at her and then I gently laid next her and covered us both up with a blanket. I held her tightly in my arms and fell asleep.
When I awoke, it was to Allison already looking at me with a fond smile on her face. "Hello, beautiful. How are you feeling?" I asked her as I grabbed her hand and intertwined our fingers together. She smiled at me. "I'm perfect. How are you doing? You lost both your brother and sister today." She asked me. "To be honest, I'm doing alright. I am hurt that they actually hated our relationship as much as they did and they had to die. But, I am relieved that it is over and we can finally move on without any threats." I truthfully told her. She saw that I had mixed emotions, so she shifted so she could hug me. I kissed the top of her head and held her tightly to me. "Even though I lost both of my siblings today. I am grateful that I still have you, my love." I said to her as she sat up and kissed me. I instantly returned the kiss and it quickly became heated. I knew I needed to stop this soon as we needed to save ourselves for the mating, so I slowed our kiss and backed away from her. She frowned at me. "Not yet, my beloved." I said to her as I pecked her one last time. She was still pouting a little as I said.
"Not yet, but soon my sweet mate."
