After eating late lunch due to the delay at school, our hostel supervisors suddenly announced that a thorough searching will be carried out. It was so sudden that only few of us was able to the whatever that would implicate them out of their bags, I was one of the lucky few. I was able to hide my phone.
Meanwhile, Queen, Peace and Fumbi wouldn't stop pacing up and down like their bags were full of all sorts of implicating devices, since their phones was with them too, I couldn't think of anything else that could implicate them.
Well, what do I know?
They started with the bags of the junior students in which nothing against the school's rules was found. The kids didn't know anything.... yet.
Funke Anikulapo was punished though, due to the weeks old dirty and smelly pants found stuffed at the bottom of her bag... that girl was just too dirty.
Soon, they started searching through the senior girls' bags, makeups of different kinds were seized, some phones were seized too.
And then I found out why Queen and her cohorts wouldn't stop pacing, s*x pills and condoms were found in their bags... what did they even use condoms for? Those girls never ceased to amaze me.
They were called into the head supervisor's office and by 'they', I mean everyone guilty of owning stuffs that the school did not approve of.
I settled down on my bed and brought out my phone fully sure that the supervisors wasn't going to come in anytime soon, they were obviously going to be busy.
I logged onto my w******p and noticed a message from an unknown number,
"Hey Darl?"
Who's this one?
"Who's this Please?" I replied.
"Ouch, you just broke my heart. You mean you don't have my number???"
"Am I supposed to?"
"Apparently Yes, I'm your boyfriend, remember??"
Boyfriend?! Wait, is this who I think it is?
"Ore?"
"The one and only, sweetheart?"
Whaoh! Look who Finally admitted to been my boyfriend? Who's doing a victory dance with me? I'm definitely showing this conversation to Queen and her friends when they come back.
"Lol, Okay. But when did I say yes to you though?"
"Lol, Okay. But when did I ask you out though?"
I laughed at how he managed to make his reply look like mine.
"Why then did you just call yourself my boyfriend?"
"Why then did you tell everyone that I'm your boyfriend?"
The conversation was getting less funny and more embarrassing for me but I managed to wave it off as funny.
"Lol, I never even said that! People just shipped us themselves. You're way in over your head, Ore?. "
I had to live in denial o...who would agree to that? So that it will boost his already inflated ego?
"Hm...okay then. But I wouldn't actually mind if we make the rumours true, you know? I like you anyways?"
If my skin colour was white, I would probably be as red as a tomato right now.
"Abi you're just saying that to get into my pants? Is it not you guys?!"
"I guess there has to be gold in that pants of yours if you think I'm asking you out just to get into your pants... do you know how many hotter pants I could have gotten into if that's what I actually want? And you should know that I don't really date like that... you would even be my second girlfriend."
Ore knew how to be so cocky and straightforward at the same time... I ah should be happy that it was not his plan but I felt kind of disappointed instead.
"Well, you're not a flirt truthfully but you're known for ridiculing girls a lot."
"Those are girls who don't know their worth and girls who are so shameless."
"Hmm?"
"So can I see you this night even if it's just for a few minutes, I want to see your beautiful face."
"Of course. I'll see you by 7:30 immediately after dinner."
"I'm fine with that. See you then."
I turned off my cellphone, staring into space dreamily. The most handsome boy in the whole S.S. 2 was my boyfriend. I get to be with my longtime crush.
Ore was now Tiwa's boyfriend.
