After dinner that same day, Ore walked up to me as I got up and followed him ignoring the stares I got from Queen and Co.
Ore started a conversation as we walked towards a less bright area behind the dinner hall, I didn't even think of any ulterior motive from him as I followed him, somehow, I just trusted him.
"So I guess we are now a couple right?!" He asked refusing to meet my eyes, who knew that Ore could be so shy.
"I guess?" My voice came out like that of a mouse.
"For someone who was replying me boldly this afternoon on w******p, you act to shy face to face." Ore pointed out while I just laughed.
"Pot calling kettle black, the same thing could be said about you too." I replied.
"Well, I don't know what's wrong with me that I'm doing like mumu o! Your presence is really affecting me." Ore joked going back to his usual self while I just laughed, I was getting less shy and more comfortable with him.

We found a log of wood to sit on as we both stared into space for some minutes in silence. It was a comfortable one.
Ore broke it, "So who are you?!" He asked. I raised my left brow, confused about the question.
"I mean, tell me about you." He rephrased.
"Well, what do you know about me?" I threw a question not knowing how to start about me.
"Hmmm, very few. Your name is Falade Tiwalade Zoe Adunni. You have two sisters. You've attended RPHS since J.S.S 1 and you're a gentle and cultured sixteen years old girl. You have a crush on me."
I laughed too hard at his last statement. This guy knew just how to c***k my ribs.
"Well, you know me too well. You'll know more as time goes on."
"Okay so it's my turn now, what do you know about me too?" He asked not breaking eye contact.
"Well, you're Sotande Oreoluwa Peter. You're brilliant and handsome. You are the life of our class, class is boring without you in it. You are the talk of RPHS girls and you're my boyfriend."
He laughed too as we both stared intensely at each other, he touched my hands as I felt all sorts of emotions at once; joy, excitement, curiosity, love and l**t.
"You're cute, you know that, right?" He said still not breaking eye contact but before I could reply, someone interrupted us.

That girl and her timing though!
"Yes, we all know that she's cute! So you are here doing lovey dovey when I have been looking for you all over, abi?!"
"Why are you looking for me? What business do we have together?!" I snapped, annoyed at her interruption.
"Ah! See this one! So I am guilty for trying to warn you that the hostel gate is going to be closed soon, abi? It's like you want to sleep on One's bed today. Don't say nobody told you o, the supervisors are locking the hostel gate early today so you had better get up!" She said as she ran off while I got up quickly.
I said a brief goodbye to Ore and ran towards the gate.
I couldn't help but wonder along the way why it was Peace that came to call me, we weren't even roommates.
As soon as I stepped foot into the hostel compound, the supervisor locked the gate only after giving me a suspicious look which I did not care about.
I walked into my room and jumped onto the down bunk happily. I quickly turned on my phone and logged onto w******p, a message from Ore was already there;
"I had a wonderful time this night!"
I blushed before replying, "me too."
"You're so sweet and I love the way you made me feel so happy. I hope we get to do more of it next time, goodnight, sugarplum." He sent.
"Goodnight."
I slept off with a smile on my face forgetting to turn off my phone.
