Chapter 4: The Invaders

          Sunday morning, Timothy and Aella prepared their needs for the field trip, they prepared: snacks, extra clothes, money, slippers, shoes, cellphone and first aid kit in case it’s needed.

After they organize their stuffs, they drove to go in the University.

As what we expect the University have a private bus they will ride, it’s coincidence that Aella and Timothy will ride the same bus. The whole time, they pretend that the 2 of them aren’t close only a buddy.

Well, the students believe it at all because for them it’s impossible that a handsome and muscular man as Timothy would be close to the ugly girls beside him. The girls in the Bus is drooling all over Timothy, and Aella felt the sharp glare of the girls inside the bus.

Aella feels that the air around her is suffocating because of the girls having a crush on Timothy. She wanted to rip their clothes in front of Timothy so they can stop trying to take Timothy’s attention. But no… that will only lead on trouble….

An hour later Aella fell asleep and she’s struggling positioning her head straight, she didn’t know that Timothy let her head rest on his shoulder so she won’t have stiff neck while she’s sleeping. Timothy observe her while sleeping, he thinks she’s cute while drooling.

He likes the smell of her hair, the smell of her skin and her black eyes. He noticed her weird steel bracelet that has unique design with unknown symbols. His gaze goes back to Aella when she suddenly woke up.

Aella: Are we there already?

Timothy smile and answer.

Timothy: Not yet, but I think we’re getting near it.

Aella loves museum, it displays the historic story and art of their world. She respects their previous ruler and heroes.  She smiled widely and Timothy can’t help but to smile too.

When they finally arrive the “Memento Museum” Aella rushed to go inside and so delighted to start the tour. Inside the museum, they saw how their Technologies evolved and the statues and sculptures of the previous presidents and heroes of their planet. The tour guide continued to explain the information about every artifact in the museum, while they continue to discuss Aella aren’t listening and she continue to analyze and study the artifacts and advanced technologies they witnessing. Timothy just follow the happy Aella and they both study inside the museum.

Aella: This incompressible fluid in the tank can manipulate the matter of an object to change, first it will liquify the object before a surface tension. As you observe the particles in it, they float around its orbit then compressed later on.

Timothy: This explains how the small spheres we use in our mission, change and turned into any weapon we need.

Aella: Yes!

They create their own discussion in every experiment they saw, until their gaze fall into something weird… A small tank, it has a floating dead crystal ball but when she walked towards it, the crystal floats towards her direction and when she tried to touch the crystal something appeared on her forearm and the crystal continues to change in different colors. She quickly let go her hand on the glass and avoid it.

Aella: This is weird…

Timothy suddenly grabbed her waist and they both roll on the floor until he’s on top of her. The roof of the museum explodes and turned into shreds.

Timothy: The invaders is here!

Aella: What?! This is bad, our suit is in the bus. Club go back inside the bus and get our suit and ask for back up immediately while you getting our suits, I will evacuate the everyone in here and buy some time for us to handle them.

Timothy: Are you sure?

Aella smile at him and didn’t reply.

Timothy: Promise me you will be careful, ok?

Aella: Yes Sir!

Timothy left her to get their suits and weapons. And Aella observed her surroundings while she planned before she moves. She saw 6 invaders who try to steal the technologies and the experiments, she took the ray gun and a mask in the museum and shoot a ray gun to the invaders.

          The invaders saw her and attack her, Aella keep shooting at them and take a laser sword which she slashed at the man’s chest. The man cried in pain, then an another one attacked her with fire ball, she continued to dodge their attacks. She saw a brown liquid vial and throw it at the invader who shoot her with fireball but his fireball hit the vial and it explode at them. A glass break into pieces, the woman invader used her power to control the glass shards and attack her.

          Aella is about to dodge it but, she saw a teenage invader who will take the attack if she dodged it. She changed her mind and rush to the other Invader and saved her, but she felt a pain on her waist. She looked behind waist and saw a big glass shard hit her!

          The teenage invader is surprised because she was by saved her. Aella smiled at her, the invader asked her.

Teen. Invader: Why did you saved me?

Aella: You don’t want to fight nor harm anyone do you?

The invader bit her lip in regret and nod at her.

Aella: Then flee as soon as possible

The teen invader fled, then Aella tore her lower school blouse, she used the torn cloth to stop the bleeding.

Leader of the Invader: Hey School Girl, stop hiding now or I’m gonna blow up this whole museum and we both know hundreds of innocent people will die here.

Aella have no choice but to come out her hiding spot and raise both of her hands in the air as a sign of surrender.

Leader of the Invader: Good girl *clap, clap, clap* I am impressed that you survived this so far without a decent weapon and armor on your body. But it seems you got a wound from us.

They both glared to each other, they don’t remove their dark gaze.

Aella: How about we make a bet?

Leader of the Invader: I have no time with a bet. It’s obvious you are buying some time for the agents of this planet to go—

Aella: I’m the Leader of the Agents. It seems you are a leader too… How about we fight?

Leader of the Invader: Are you sure about that? HA! You don’t even have a good weapon and an armor!

Aella: Are you telling me you are frighten to fight an almost naked human with nothing?

 The Leader is offended and got pissed. He stretched his arm and take a warm up, a message that he is ready to fight her wherever and whenever she wants.

Leader of the Invader: I accept your challenge, but if I win we will take all of the stuffs in here without the agents stopping us.

Aella: If you lose you will all surrender immediately and never harming others nor taking hostages with you again! And remember that no one can interfere our battle.

The leader laugh at her and focus his eyes to her.

Leader of the Invader: YOU ARE SO DEAD!

They both charged, the leader summoned an electric weapon on his hands. Aella keeps dodging his attack and she saw sword handle without a blade and use it to attack the leader. He is confused at first when she used the handle, then he found out that the handle is absorbing his electricity and an electric blade formed inside the handle.

Leader of the Invader: What a clever girl

Aella: Less talking more fighting!

She charged but the leader put both of his hands on the floor and large spikes appear on the floor towards her. She dodged it and use a gravity manipulator for her able to flew in mid air. Then she charged towards the leader, but the leader is ready to attack her, but suddenly Aella click again the gravity manipulator and used her speed to attack the leader. The leader stumbled, she threw the electric blade at him and it stunned him for a second, then she grabbed the dagger on the leader’s belt and stab his chest.

          The leader’s comrades gasp of what they all witnessed. The backups agents arrived and they saw Aella stabbed the leader. Aella retrieve the dagger from the man’s chest and leader lie on the floor… dead.

          The Invaders surrender to the agents, Aella sighed with a relief. Timothy wearing his suit with a mask to hide his identity, rushed beside her with a worried on his face.

Timothy: sorry we are late… what hap—

Before he asked, he saw Aella’s waist bleeding and before Aella say something to him, she fainted.

Timothy grabbed her and run to a medic team. They checked her, they use a gravitational sphere to stop the blood circulation in her waist and to avoid blood loss. Timothy is not only worried because she almost died because of blood lost, it’s because she will face a big trial for killing an Enigma.
