“She looks just like her father.” I think I heard the compliment fourteen times today, from all fourteen attending lunas. It was still the best thing they could compliment the little princess with, even if it was to the face of her mother who had nearly died while giving birth to her. Aris told me that Eleanor looks like me, but everyone else seemed to disagree. I placed one last kiss on her head and handed her to Laureen. She was looking more than disgruntled these days, even though the ‘bully Victoria into returning to work’ plan was completed. I only saw Eleanor for feeding during the day, but at night I still insisted that she slept in the same room as us. Laureen wasn’t mad because of that.
