Chapter 30

1532 Words
"Good morning, The Viewers, as we know Mr. Frans Smith has just opened the construction of a national scale factory, he is the first person from the city of Springfield, our city, to make it into the ranks of the most successful men under the age of thirty, with talent, perseverance, unyielding attitude, Mr. Frans has won so many achievements on a national and international level. We should be proud to have been one of the witnesses of how the sons of the city of Springfield can achieve all these achievements." The reporter paused, he smiled, the camera was pointed at Samuel's helpless body. "The Viewers, as a local man who has worked for a long time, is dedicated, gives influence, and other positive things to this region; Mr. Frans always does not hesitate to help friends, relatives, and strangers who need help." The reporter walked towards Samuel's body, which was lifted into the first car. The cameraman shows how much Mr. Frans Smith is to those who suffer. "Just as a good Samaritan helps a stranger who has been beaten, so is Mr. Frans Smith's humanity when he sees this poor young man." Samuel's face was instantly zoomed in so that all of those in the house could see who was currently injured and helpless on the ground. Alpha One gave Alpha Three a meaningful look, which Alpha Three immediately understood. He nodded and said, "Okay," then he immediately walked to his car door, opened it, and invited Samuel, who was being carried by the other aides, into the first car. "What is Mr. Frans going to do with that poor body? If I'm not mistaken, it's Samuel, isn't it?" one reporter asked; he made a live broadcast with Alpha One. Alpha one's face was flat and expressionless; this was one of his duties during his time working under Mr. Frans. "We are going to take him to the hospital. He is seriously ill, from his face it can be seen that he has just been very drunk, so his consciousness has decreased, and he is no longer aware of the area around him, several people are following him, surely this lying person must have owed so much. Hence, people took advantage of this situation. He was beaten, and then money was taken from his wallet. However, the debt collectors knew that he had no money from where his wallet was located. The victim who is currently being taken to the hospital is named Samuel; he is a former detective who is not famous; he has made a mistake because of his negligence. Humans are natural to make mistakes, but for Mr. Samuel's work, once making a mistake is the worst. They are demanded not to do wrong. Mr. Samuel has wrongly accused the suspect, which resulted in the suspect being sentenced to death, while the suspect was not the culprit at all." In the state of silence, Alpha One deliberately made the audience absorb every word he just said. After ten seconds later, Alpha One resumed it. "What a coincidence, Mr. Frans does know Mr. Samuel because about eleven years ago, Mr. Samuel's widow was married to Mr. Frans. They are a low-income family, which Mr. Frans later helped." Even the reporter herself was shocked and kept her mouth shut. "Is that true?" asked the reporter quietly. Alpha One was silent, didn't make a sound at all, and the reporter finally waited, whether Alpha One still wanted to continue this interview or not. However, not. For a moment, the reporter felt lost because this was exciting news. After all, this city has found a real warrior. "Well, thank you very much, Mr. Alpha One. We got so much useful information; we hope this company opening campaign goes well to completion, who would have thought that Mr. Frans' kindness could be revealed from a small matter like this. I am Angeline Wang, reporting directly from Street Spring Sprint One." The red light went out, and Angela wanted to chase Alpha One. Unfortunately, Alpha One immediately left the place. The reporter said to the cameraman, "Let's follow them; they are going to the hospital." After that, the group left the deserted street and immediately headed for the hospital. Meanwhile, Caroline, who was at home, had just watched a live broadcast her husband had done during the campaign to open a new factory. "Tch! What's he doing! There's no need to help that guy!" She was annoyed because her husband had helped Samuel, then she looked at her social media, how she was surprised when she read what was written there. [Hey, did you guys watch the live broadcast just now?] asked a woman with the pseudonym Flower123. Several people replied afterward, [Yes, we have seen it. The handsome and wealthy man was a good Samaritan. Hahaha. Why have people been stupid all along by refusing their company to operate near the river! I feel ashamed of you guys!] answered another woman named Mrs. Cassandra. [Right! If indeed Mr. Frans was no good, so he would have forgotten in that useless person to die there, but Mr. Frans had helped that i***t! Just imagine only a fool would make his way there! Too bad it's not only his luck that's unlucky, but he's also foolish.] Mr. Tom cursed Samuel's stupidity. [We should support Mr. Frans in opening a new factory that has just been launched, besides that, we have to delete the petition that rejects the establishment of the new factory. He is a good person.] Caroline laughed out loud, reading the public opinion about her husband. She was amused when her useless ex-husband was linked with Samuel. She laughed. "Now is the time for me to enjoy life with endless riches." *** Meanwhile, in another place, Abdul and Jonathan were dropped off at the market; the streets were already busy. Jonathan fumbled in his pocket; he remembered that he only had a few dollars in his wallet. He saw Abdul, who was looking at the food stall. Therefore, Jonathan immediately asked Abdul, "Would you like to accompany me to eat there?" Jonathan pointed to the dining area in front of them, and Abdul nodded slightly. "Yes." One lady who served them was very nice. "What's your meal order?" The menu there is not much, there are only two menus; porridge and rice. "What do you want to have as breakfast?" Abdul's face was shocked; he was confused by the answer he would give. Silently, he fumbled in his trouser pocket and took out his wallet. Then quickly saw that the money was only enough for one meal which was cheaper than this; if he bought this food, it would mean that he could not eat any more at noon. Abdul quickly shook his head and said, "I will eat at home." Jonathan could tell that Abdul had no money, so he said, "It's okay. I'll pay for it." Abdul's throat felt tight; he had never received kindness from the people around him. So he said, "Thank you, Sir. Thank you, Sir." "It's okay. Please choose." They choose the food and tell the women waiting for them in front of their order. They only waited for the food and then enjoyed their meal. "Where are you going?" Jonathan asked Abdul. "My house is quite far, about two hours from this place." He told. Jonathan nodded his head. He returned to enjoying the food. Abdul hesitated; he ate slowly, not daring to go any faster than now. When finished, the two immediately left the place. "Thank you very much, Sir. Thank you very much." Abdul spoke to him politely; he felt lucky to have met such a nice person. Jonathan remembered that his money had been drained quite a lot because he had helped Samuel a few days ago, but he had seen the amount of money in Abdul's wallet; he knew that it would not be enough to get to the place that Abdul told him earlier. "What are you going home with?" asked Jonathan. Embarrassed, Abdul said, "I'll walk to the train station; I'm taking the train." The distance from their place to the train station was five kilometers, which was quite a journey on foot. Jonathan immediately took the money from his wallet. "Take it, and you can go back to your house." Abdul was surprised. He really couldn't believe what Jonathan had just done. "What is this money for, Sir?" asked Abdul in a stuttering voice. He swallowed his saliva. His throat was dry, and his hands were shaking; he accepted the kindness of others. "This is for your fare. Use this." Jonathan transferred the money into Abdul's hands and let Abdul hold the funds. Abdul's tears came out of the corners of his eyes. "Thank you very much, Sir. Thank you very much, Sir." Then he immediately said goodbye and went to the station. Just a moment later, Jonathan's eyes opened, not far from where he was standing; a group of men in black robes with glasses perched on each other's noses were walking there. Damn it! Jonathan cursed in his mind; he immediately ran away from the place.
