Chapter 19

Samuel was pulled back by Jonathan, so he fell over; Jonathan shouted, "Get out of here quickly! It's dangerous here! We take the path on the right!" but Samuel said, "Wait a minute!"

"Aaaah!" Gerry shouted; the hissing sound seemed to be creeping upon him. He immediately took a knife from his bag and stabbed carelessly so that the rotten smell filled the cave.

"Aaaah!" The screams of a woman's voice were heard as Gerry stabbed the knife in any direction.

"Linda! Linda!" shouted Greg and Samuel simultaneously, but there was no answer. Gerry pulled the two women who were previously standing with Linda to fall. The snakes had been deliberately deprived of food for days; they were starving and wanted to eat whatever was in front of them. Of the three women in Linda's group, only Clara was lying on the bottom; Gerry had slaughtered her body. One of the giant snakes is still enjoying Linda. The woman's head looked very real; the strands of her hair that had once played spoiled all over Samuel's bare chest now slowly entered the snake's body. The snake ripped Linda's head apart when its fangs hit her skull. The smell of blood that filled the cave was the smell of her blood. One snake had budged because it had eaten the body of one of Linda's female companions. It was already full, and its body looked fat from having just swallowed a human whole.

"Where are the others!" asked Greg, exasperated. The snakes were not alone, and several were slithering fast beside the first snake. Their skin is slimy, and their bodies are enormous.

Alena screamed as the hiss was getting more and more towards her. She was about to run away, but they also didn't know if the path on the right was the right one.

Samuel's face was pale, and his legs could not move; in the darkness, the snake devoured Linda's body so fast.

Gerry was happy because he didn't die; his friends immediately took the knife; they killed the creatures in front of them, including Greg and the other man in Linda's group.

Their minds went insane; all they had in mind was to kill and kill everyone who wasn't in their group.

Jonathan's face was horrified at the thought of this incident; his hand immediately reached out and grabbed Samuel's hand so that Samuel's body was dragged several meters away from them.

"Get up quickly! We have to escape from this cursed cave! It's hazardous in here!" Jonathan screamed, sending horror running through his nerves.

Samuel immediately got up from his place, his heart sank, he wanted to vomit everything that was in his stomach right now, Linda had just been swallowed into the belly of one of the snakes, but Linda's teammates, stabbed the snake's body so that the snake died, as well as the bodies of Linda and two other friends, they died because their friends drew the knife into the snake's body which also directly pierced their internal organs.

The sound of moans, cries, and laughter of despair filled the cave. This place was so terrible, Samuel and his other four friends immediately ran through the right lane, they kept running, and they could hear the footsteps of some people behind them also chasing them.

"Hurry up! They're after us!" Jonathan ordered the others.

"Come on, Old Man!" Samuel pulled the old man's hand; the old man's body was so thin and frail, his breath could be heard from Samuel's place, his skin was cold, when Samuel touched the wrinkled skin, he could feel the skin sweating too much. "Are you still able to run?" Samuel asked the Old Man. Their faces are still pale. Breathing is still audible. They kept running.

"Aaaah!" Abdul fell, he was in front of him he didn't know that big rock was blocking him, so he fell, and his lips bled to form another stone in his path. Their breathing was irregular; Jonathan stopped; he immediately grabbed Abdul's hand so that the man immediately stood up from his place. "Come on, wake up; the others'll overtake us if we don't hurry."

Abdul's lips were bleeding, his face hit the ground, his head had touched a rock, and he could feel that his head had a gaping hole now. He was bleeding, and his head was dripping with fresh blood.

Jonathan pulled him, and they immediately ran with Abdul's head hurt.

From behind, there was a hysterical sound. They shouted.

"Aaaa! Don't kill us! Please don't!" one shouted at the other.

"Help!"

"Help! They're crazy! Help!"

This incident only lasted a few minutes, after which there was no more screaming. Gerry's group had killed another group they saw in plain sight. Their hands were stained with blood; they were grinning and laughing with satisfaction.

Many had died in their hands, but they feel so proud because of it; the five of them ran back, trying to find a way out of that damn cave.

While far ahead of them, Samuel's group had already made it out of the cave, and the place was scorching. Alena immediately felt the change in the weather all over her body.

This place is so hot, and even the ice can melt, Alena thought. As she thought so, she immediately shouted, "This is the place! This is the place!" They were no longer running. They all threw their bodies on the ground. So tired of the run they did.

"Are we there yet?" asked the Old Man, his body, slumped on the ground, his eyes narrowed at the gleaming light above his head, sweat running down his entire body, and he was panting for breath.

A loud pop sounded above them.

Seen their five faces in the air, it was as if there was a projector showing their faces in the air, and those lying on the ground could see their faces up there.

"We did it?" ask one another.

Alena replied, "Yes, we did it," with a tight chest and good shoulders down. "Hahaha..." Tears fell from the corners of her eyes. She laughed loudly. "Yes, we have won!"

The hot air above them swept their voice. The scorching heat is like a bulldozer that can eat anyone under it, but they don't care; the important thing is that this is a step they have taken to get out of this terrible game island. The prize was too big; that is all their will. live freely without having to be overshadowed by the power of the CDA that has destroyed their entire lives.

Each closed their eyes.
