Marriage is decided...
- Hey, where are you, Blake?
- What happened, you, nasty little nerd? Didn't I tell you not to call me? How dare you dial my number after what you've done?
- Watch your tongue jerk. I would never call you if it wasn't an absolute emergency.
BTW, by your "what happened" did you mean to say how I kicked your dirty little butt in front of your losers g**g? Oh, what a scene. I'm so proud of myself. Hhhhh.
Whatever, it doesn't matter now. We have bigger problems, to worry about.
They're deciding the wedding date Mr Douchebag. It's over, we can't escape.
- Hey, hey, wow wow wow, calm down. I'm on my way to your parents.
- No, we are at your summer mansion.
- What? Why? It's not the season for Summer Mansion, so why you all are there?
- I have no idea. Mr Gilmore said something about having our wedding vows said here, at the gardens. I left the room to call you. Didn't want to hear anything. Even the slightest thought of marrying you is making me sick.
- Hey you, ugly duckling, don't flatter yourself, it's not like I'm dreaming of marrying you.
Who would even want to marry a fugly little book-moth like you?
- Oh, Mr. narcissistic little prince is hurt. What an utter pleasure. Go to hell, Blake. Now I'm starting to regret calling you to help me get out of this disaster. And there I thought you would be serious at least once in your life. What a huge disappointment.
- OK, OK, chill, I said I'm on my way. Just hang in there, we'll do something to come out of this mess. We won't get married. Don't worry. We hate each other, so it's impossible.
- I hate to admit it, but first time in my life I couldn't agree more. Hurry up, I can't tolerate this masquerade any longer.
- Hey, book-moth, I forgot to tell you something.
- What's that Blake, speak fast, my head hurts, and I want to get home ASAP.
- My friend, Jason, son of the judge, you remember him?
- Yes, and?
- He has a date with your friend, Nancy, and they were asking if we could join them to make it a double date. I promised him we would go.
- What? I can't believe you dared to decide for me something. How could you agree to that? We aren't a happy, loving couple to go on dates holding hands, we can't stand each other, forgot?
- I know, I know, I should've asked you first, but you know right? Jason is so in love with her, and that was the only way she agreed to go out with him. That was Nancy's ultimatum to bring you. Just tag along, we'll try to leave early, anyway. I couldn't say no to him. He saved us that day, remember? We owe him at least this little favour.
Jason D'Abernon saved Blake and Layla five years ago when they got into a car crash after Blake stole his father's car to go to a party with Layla and her cousin. He jumped from the top of the high cliff to take them out of the water after the car rolled-tossed down the cliff into the most dangerous waterfall in the area. And later saved them from appearing in prison with the help of his father, the regional judge Mr. Elliot D'Abernon. This family was famous for their noble deeds, and Blake's father had long decided, that Elliot had to be the godfather of this marriage, and his son had to be the chauffeur of Blake's wedding, where he could introduce his sister's daughter to him, to arrange another marriage with benefits for their "Royal" family. After all, Gilmores, Schwarzs and D'Abernons were the richest, most influential families in the entire region. They couldn't risk their reputation by becoming In-laws with some random low-ranked family.
- All right, I'll be there. But note, that this is only for Jason and Nancy. If you try even a little of your dirty tricks I'll kill you then and there.
- Fine, I'll pick you up tomorrow at seven. Don't be late. We have to be at Chester's restaurant at eight pm.
- Don't bother. I don't need a driver. I have one. I'll come myself.
- Be ready at seven, and stop arguing with me for once. Soon you'll be my wife. I wonder how you're going to use that long tongue of yours then. You'll have to obey me, little lady, that's what wives do. That's what they vow in front of the priest, don't you know that? Start practising.
- Don't even dream. There are only two people in this world that I obey, my parents. That's what got me into this mess called marriage with a jerk like you. OK, seven then.
- Wait at the mansion, I'll be there in half an hour and we can discuss the details of the escape plan.
- Layla... Layla darling where are you, we are leaving.
- Wait, hold on Blake, we are going home now. We will talk about this tomorrow after the... you know... the date.
- OK. See you tomorrow, then.
