I listen to Elijah in silence, trying to take in everything he was saying, but what keeps repeating in my head is the fact that he was looking for us...
He wanted to be with us.
I told you so, didn't I?
A little voice in my head mocks me and my heart flutters.
His words only further convince me that the decision I have already made is the right one for all of us.
He is still talking when I suddenly stand, and he stops midsentence, staring at me confused as I make my way over to him.
"Kat?"
He asks nervously, but I don't answer him, I just shake my head before climbing onto his lap, wrapping my arms around his neck and kissing him, like I've been dreaming of doing for years.
