"Anything new?"
I ask Dawson as I rush into the station.
"We ran the number from Elijah’s call. It was a prepaid burner, bought at a gas station three towns over two days ago."
Before I can respond, Riley rushes over.
"Another call just came in about twenty minutes ago. Location pinged in the same quadrant."
"She called Elijah again?"
I ask but he shakes his head.
"No. The call was made to Caldwell’s cell."
I step closer to the table, my eyes scanning the map marked with coordinates and red pins.
"Has Caldwell made a move since the call?"
Riley shakes his head.
"No, but we still have eyes on him. If he does move, we will know."
"How long before they reach her location?"
I ask, looking at Dawson.
"They are looking, but they’ve got a fifty kilometer range
