"Beryl, you’ve got a package!" I walked over to the security guard with a smile, even though I was still annoyed with Aireen. At first, I couldn't believe those two massive boxes were actually for me. Who would’ve sent these? There was even a paper bag full of chocolates and a bouquet of expensive flowers. "I’ll just leave them here for now," I told her. I figured I’d just take a taxi home later. I decided to take the chocolates with me—I wasn't about to share them with my shameless coworkers.
