“Are you really being serious?" He asks, looking astonished.
"Yes Maddox, remember the day you marked me. Well, it was Lenna who saw it in her vision and told me.You have to know too that you have a little you growing inside me."
His eyes remain wide. He is quiet for a moment until he says, "Wow."
He pushes his chair back and faces me. I turn to face him as well, his gaze resting on my stomach. He stretches out his hand and lays it on my flat tummy. I put my hand above his.
"Wow," He says once more, "So my pup is really growing inside you."
"It's probably just the size of a bean," I chime. "But yeah, it's growing. James will be a big brother soon."
His eyes water a little, he lets out a short laugh. I'm sure he is excited about this.
He stands up and grabs me, lifting my feet
