My Lost Rejected Mate

Chapter five-Talamh's POV

I sat there on the ground, clutching my stomach. I knew I was pregnant since I woke up this morning. We need to leave. It's not safe for us here. My wolf Rose said. Yes, we do. We need to leave tonight. They will all be asleep by nightfall. I told her. I slowly got up and went into the closet. There was a bag sitting in the corner. I grabbed it and brought it out into the bedroom. I went into the bathroom and grabbed a toothbrush,toothpaste, and a hairbrush. I put those into a bag. I went back into the closet. Someone must have went shopping for me when I was in the kitchen, because there was a week's worth of clothes in there. I grabbed two outfit's and put those in there as well. I grabbed a hoodie and took off the one that I was wearing. It reeked of Ryder,so I know it's Ryder's hoodie. I put the other one on and I threw Ryder's hoodie into the trash. I zipped up the bag and stuffed it under the bed. I sat on the bed and turned on the TV. I put on a movie and closed my eye's. I soon drifted into a deep dreamless sleep.

I woke to the sound of the door opening. I opened an eye and saw Ryder walk in. He was carrying a tray with food on it. He put the tray down on the dresser and walked over to me. I sat up slowly, watching him carefully. "Look-" He started but I cut him off. " No." I said. " What?" He asked me. "No. You only acted out of instinct. I shouldn't have said the things I did, and I'm sorry for my action's." I told him. I hated having to apologize, but if I wanted to leave tonight, I had no choice. He looked shocked at what I said. "I-" He cut me off my pressing his lips against mine in a soft, yet demanding kiss. I didn't move. I was to shocked,and my mind was clouding up. When my mind started to clear, I pushed him away from me. " What the hell was that for?" I yelled at him. " If you ever think about running away again, I will lock you up in my room,and you will never see the light of day again." He told me. Crap, I forgot he can hear my thoughts. " Yep. You did." He said with a smirk. I glared at him. " what do you want anyway?" I asked him. " I brought you lunch. I didn't know if you wanted to come down after our...scene" He said. I looked at the tray of food and saw a turkey and cranberry sandwich, and apple, and a glass of water. "Thank's." I said. He nodded, and walked back to the door. He stopped and turned around. "If you didn't want to wear my sweatshirt, You could have just given it back to me, instead of throwing it in the trash." He said. " Ill keep that in mind." I told him harshly. He left and I walked over to the dresser and took a bite of the sandwich, and immediately regretted it. I ran to the bathroom and threw up. When I finished, I washed my face and went back to the bed. A sickly sweet smell caught my attention and I decided to follow it. I went down the corridor, and down the stairs to the kitchen where the sweet smell was strongest. The scene that lay before me was something I would have never expected. a guy that I didn't recognize was laying in the floor with Jake pounding his face in." What are you doing?" I asked him. He stopped and looked up at me. " And what is that amazing smell?" I added. He gave me a funny look, and sniffed the air. "What smell? All I smell is Kade's blood." He said. I walked over to the guy and touched his bloodied face. I put my finger's up to my nose and smelled them. It's his blood. Rose told me. Why does it smell so good? I asked her. David was a hybrid. His vampire gene must have been passed into our pup. She told me. What? I yelled. Talamh, listen. If you don't drink blood, you will die, and so will our pup. She told me.How is this possible? I asked. You need to ask Ryder for some blood. She told me. Fine. I told her. "Where's Ryder?"I asked Jake. "In his office." He told me. "Thanks." I said and walked upstairs. I knocked twice before opening the door and walking in. The scene before me was nothing I had ever expected to see. Ryder was leaning over a girl and kissing her neck. I the girl moaned and leaned her head back. She saw me and let out a high pitched squeal. Ryder's eyes flew to mine and widened in sruprise. I kept all emotion void from my face as I watched them both scramble to their upright position's. A growl loosened itself from my throat as I recognized who the girl was. It was Tiffiny Star. The pack's slut. My ex-best friend. The air grew colder and I fought for control as Rose tried to take over. Tiffiny whimpered and took a step back as she saw my eyes darken and change color. I've been told that my eye's look like little orb's of yellow fire when my wolf takes over. I pushed Rose back and blocked her out. I rolled my eye's and turned around, slamming the door behind me. I walked back downstairs and into the living room where Jake and Kade ( The guy Jake was pounding his face into the ground) were sitting, watching a game and drinking their beers, watching a game. They both looked my way when they felt me approach. Jake had a slight smirk on his face, like he knew what had happened. " How'd your little chat go?" He said with a chuckle. I growled at him and almost reached for his beer, but grabbed the TV remote instead. I flicked through the channels and settled on a horror movie. The guys groaned in protest and I sent them a glare. Kade looked down, but Jake just looked at me. " What crawled up your ass and died?" He asked. I froze and my hand clenched the remote tighter, but not enough to break it. Just a vampires d**k. Rose sneered. I growled and blocked her out again. I opened my mind link and let him enter my mind. I'm pregnant and in a bitchy mood. Don't push me. I told him through the mind link. What? How are you pregnant? He linked back. I was r***d by my old Alpha, and apparently, He was half vampire, so now I need to drink blood in order to live, until I birth my pup. I told him flatly. Your kidding. Right? He asked. " Nope. I'm dead serious." I told him with my voice. His eyes widened,and he asked," Were you, um, you know..." He trailed off. " A virgin? Yes." I replied. He let out a growl. " If he weren't already dead, I'd kill him myself." He said through grated teeth. " Me too. " I told him. We both let out a laugh and he nudged my shoulder. A growl sounded behind us and we both turned around. I rolled my eyes. " Talamh. Come. Here." Ryder commanded me. I stayed where I was. " NOW!!" He yelled. " No." I told him. " What?" He said surprised. " No." I repeated. "Why?" He forced out. "Because you restored my to my title as an Alpha, so your commands do not affect me." I stood and walked past him and into the kitchen. He growled and followed me. He gripped my arm and spun me around. " I can easily strip you of your title. " He warned me. I laughed at him. " Unless I have committed a crime, you can't strip me of a god damn thing." I told him. He looked dumbfounded. I walked out the back door and toward's the forest. I turned around and faced him. " Oh, and next time, if your going to have a slut in your office, lock your door." And with that, I let Rose take over and we shifted into our wolf form. Ryder stared at me with wide eyes as he took in my wolf. My wolf was all white, and her paws were black as night, and a black spot over one eye. I waited a couple seconds as he looked at us, then turned around and leaped into the forest. The last thing he saw was the tip of my white tail disappearing into the green forest and out of the territory.
