When we had heard knocking on the door, I knew who it was. It was my beta, Nikolai.
I don't know why, but for some reason, Talamh hated him. I'd have to ask her about it
later. " Go take a shower, and I'll bring up some clothes for you." I told her. She nodded.
I growled. I hated her being this submissive. I have no clue what the black moon pack
did to her, but I had a pretty good idea. She used to be so bold and brave, and she never
let anyone talk bad about her, and now, she addresses me as Alpha, and hates being the
center of attention. I knew I should've never banished her. Yea your right dumbass! My
wolf scolded me. I rolled my eyes at him as I walked out the door to get her some
clothes. I got her a pair of jeans, and one of my hoodies. She used to love wearing
hoodies. I just hoped that she still did. I really wanted to ask her why she kept throwing up, but didn't want to push her. I walked back to her room and I heard her singing.
When we were really little, and my dad used to beat me,she would always sing to me to
take the pain away. I would fall asleep to the sound of her voice, and when I'd wake up
in the mornings, she would still be there looking at the wall. Once we got older, we grew
apart, and started avoiding each other. She was a born Alpha that, surprisingly, was
birthed from the lowest of omegas. I set her clothes on the bed and listened to her for a
few minutes before I heard her turn the shower off. I quickly and quietly stepped out of her room and went to Niks office.
I knocked once, and entered. "Do you need anything
Alpha?" He asked. "I would like you too take a few wolves and run the territory to make
sure those rouges left." He nodded and stood to leave. I stopped him." I have no idea
what happened between the two of you, but you need to talk to your sister now that
she's back." I said calmly. He nodded and left. I headed to the kitchen and sat down at
the table as the omegas started to bring in the food. I pulled out my phone and checked
my emails. I had a meeting with the neighboring pack with their Alpha to talk about an
alliance.
I heard footsteps coming down the stairs ,but ignored them. I looked back up
just as Talamh walked past the table and into the kitchen. I got up and walked in after
her only to hear her squeal as she hugged Bailey. "Hey, what's all the squealing for?"
Jake said as he walked into the kitchen to kiss Bailey on the cheek. He looked at Talamh
and his eyes widened. "Kit? That really yo-" he didn't get to finish his sentence before
Talamh's tiny arms wrapped around him. "Jakey!!!" She yelled. He let out a small
growl. "You know I hate it when you call me that." He said, but hugged her anyway. She winced, but didn't pull away. Her wounds must be healing. I cleared my throat and three pairs of eyes looked at me. Talamh dropped her arms and
smiled at me. I smiled back. I heard Jake fake gasp. "Oh. My. God. Talamh, you didn't give him anything did you? I haven't seen him smile since you left." Talamh looked at
me curiously. "Really?" She asked. "Yep." He answered. "Well did he still snoop on
people while they were in the showers after I left?" I felt my cheeks flush and I turned
and opened the fridge to grab a water. "No. He quit doing that too." Jake said, with a smirk.I rolled my eyes and closed the fridge. I opened my water and took a big gulp of water. If you wanted me to sing to you, you could've come in and asked instead of sitting outside the door and listening. I choked on my water as I heard her thoughts. Jake started to pat my back as I coughed. Talamh was smirking at me. "You were waiting for me to do that, weren't you." She shrugged but her smirk widened and I knew she did. Jake looked between us and shrugged before pulling Bailey up the stairs to their room. "Make sure to keep it down this time!" I yelled up the stairs. Talamh laughed. God I missed that laugh. "How did you know I was there?"she shrugged. "I'm a werewolf, not a human. I'm not dumb." She said flatly. I changed the subject. "Hungry?" She nodded "Good." I said as I started to pull eggs from the fridge.
