Four days later
“I’m telling you, I did not do anything, please believe me!” Nick begged the officer’s that were at his home, pinning him to the ground as he tried to fight them off.
“Get down!” they yelled at him. It had been three days since Amber had left his house and ever since then it had not felt the same. He had constantly been drinking and most times, he did not remember what had happed these past few days.
Nick tossed and turned in a bed that did not feel as comfortable like his own and the blanket that coiled around him was not as thick as the one in his home, allowing in the cold from the surrounding area.
