The flashing lights which lit up the small stage, caused a strobe effect across the sea of people who had come to enjoy the evenings festivities. Safron stood at the entrance to the bar, a shudder washing over her as she blew out long slow breaths, in order to prepare herself for some accidental touching. She closed her eyes, nervously biting down on her bottom lip, as Leon stopped and looked down at his space cadet. As he looked at her, the word brave did not seem strong enough to describe how he viewed her in that moment.
