Chapter 12Shadow barely had time to move as Jason came flying toward her, hitting the floor with a bone jarring thump. She reached out to help him up only for Jason to shrug her hand off of him and glare back toward the man that had just thrown him.
Ren whispered quick, almost silent words activating the barrier while Syn gently handed Tiara over to Zach.
Jason abruptly pushed himself off the floor and charged at the barrier wall, using the strength the ring gave him against it. “Tiara!” he yelled pinning her with his dark gaze. “I’m your protector! Don’t be fooled by thinking they can save you!”
