Sian was typing in his laptop fiercely on the couch by the the foot of the bed when he heard soft noises from the bed. He turned his attention to the girl on the bed when she seemed like she was gonna get off the bed. He soon sighed in disbelief when she fell back on the bed, making no attempts to wake up. Vanessa slightly woke up and moved around in her place making light noises before pushing herself up from the bed and falling back on it exhaustedly. Sian glanced at the time on his laptop and shook his head muttering 'lazy ass' under his breath. "I heard you." Came a hoarse voice from the bed. Sian looked away from the laptop and looked towards the voice. The blanket was no longer covering her face. "What are you gonna do about it." Sian wiggled his eyebrows with a mischievous smile. "Go back to sleep." She said flipping the blanket and covering herself completely. "Wake up it's 2 in the afternoon. You won't be able to sleep at night." He said after overcoming the shock initial shock she wants to sleep again. "And who said I sleep at night." Vanessa asked looking him in the eye with her eyebrow raised. "Me. Now get off the bed and be productive." Vanessa groaned in annoyance. The only times she was productive was when she had to kill someone. "And I'm hungry." Sian continued. "Then eat." Vanessa whined. "I want to eat with you." He argued leaning back on the sofa. "And I want to eat you." Vanessa whined before entangling herself with the blanket, mummifying herself. He chuckled to himself helplessly not knowing what to do. "You might have a chance after we eat." He said thoughtfully. Vanessa untangled herself and jumped out of the bed almost instantly after hearing those words. "You could've just said that from the starting." She said stretching her sore limbs. Sian threw his head back when she started stretching in front of him. 'f*****g tease.' He thought to himself. But when he stared closely at her body he noticed something. Scars. They are gone. "Where are those scars." He asked without thinking. His widened in realization as realization realized he said that out loud Vanessa visibly tensed when she heard that weird question. She took a deep breath calming her nerves. "What." She asked hoping she heard that wrong. "Where are your scars." Sian asked figuring out there's no way out. If he changed the question, she will be suspicious. "What scars." She scoffed with one thought in her mind. 'How did he know.' Sian took a shaky breath and looked away, closing his laptop. "How much do you know." Vanessa asked coldly. "Everything. Most of the things." He said softly. A few minutes passed. "I'm sorry." Sian said with a sigh. He didn't.......mean to bring that up. "Of what." Vanessa chuckled darkly. "Because I have no scars. Because you brought up my past. Or because of my past." Vanessa asked harshly. Though her question seemed purely of curiosity one can notice her holding herself back from latching out. Sian closed his eyes regretting asking that. "Honestly I'm not sure what your apologizing for and I couldn't care less. I've moved on." She said slightly calming down and took a step towards the bathroom. Before she could take a few more steps Sian caught her hand. "Does it bother you. That." He asked looking into her eyes. He watched closely as her eyes soften, a tinge of vulnerability even, before she looked away. "You do know everything, don't you." She stated accusingly and scoffed bitterly. "Honestly I'm not sure. And I don't want to find out." She said firmly looking at him. "What if-" Vanessa cut him off before he could finish. "I don't want to hear it. I've moved on. And I'd like to keep it that way." She said menacingly, emphasizing every word. She pulled her hand from his grip when he was in his thoughts and entered the bathroom, locking herself in. Sian cursed himself for even asking her about something as painful as that. "Your clothes are in the closet, help yourself after your done. I will be in the kitchen if you want me." Vanessa heard from the other side of the room before hearing a door close. 'I never knew I could be such a pussy.' She thought to herself in disdain. She hated that she knew it affected her. She hates that she lost control of her emotions due to a stupid question and glanced at the tub being filled with lukewarm water. 'I wonder what would've happened if i was successful that day.'
