Lucas's POV
"Alpha," Jack said as he knocked on the door and came in. "We just received news that Olivia's stepmother and stepsister were expelled from Bloodmoon Pack last night."
I raised an eyebrow in surprise. This must be what Olivia meant by having something to deal with.
"What's the reason?"
"Because they falsified details in the manufacturing of their products, used underhanded means to win collaborations and projects in their businesses, oppressed and bullied the lower-level werewolves, and tried to frame Olivia at the engagement banquet in order to ruin the relationship between you both."
I remembered the look in Olivia's eyes when she escaped that night. It was definitely their doing.
"Keep an eye on their movements. They won't give up that easily."
