I struggled to keep my composure as I made my way towards him, his presence was never a good thing. And now, I had a feeling it would cost me much more than it already had, especially since he’d never made an audacious appearance before today.
“You're f u c k i n g with me, Harper. That's what this is right? A sick ploy to upset me?” he was mouthing off angrily the moment I reached him.

He laughed like a deranged animal and then brought out his phone and played the video because he knew how much it crippled me with fear.
