HARPER I woke up still feeling drowsy, and apparently I was being carried because strong arms held me in place as we moved, Jacob’s magnificent strong arms to be precise. He didn’t seem to notice that I’d woken up because his eyes were set elsewhere and worry lines were ingrained into his forehead.
