HARPER True to my word, I practically sprinted to the parking lot after the closing bell. I was going to confront Kingsley despite the knots of fear in the pit of my stomach and nothing could stand in my way. I gathered all the brevity I could conjure and stayed on the lookout for Kingsley’s driver, and the second I spotted the car, I hurried towards it. “Good afternoon, Howard, I’ll be riding home with Kingsley today,” I told the driver once I reached the car. “As you please, miss,” he unlocked the doors and I jumped in.
