As the sun rose, we laid together in each other’s arms just listening to each other’s heartbeat. Leon? “Yes?” Can we keep our mind link open all the time? I got up covering myself with the blanket, please Leon, I don’t think I will be able to go the whole day with out you. You have changed my life so much and so quickly… I looked away as tears filled my eyes and quickly got up wiping them away, “Our mind link will never close, if it does, we can conclude that one is too far away or in danger. Deal?” I smiled and nodded my head as I wrapped my arms around his neck, and he chuckled. “Let’s get ready for the day, you have a new Itinerary due to the Luna Ceremony, so dress comfortably because Miranda and Alpha Samuel and his mother are here.” WHAT, WHY? “You’re their relative and they also want to do blood work to see what branch you’re from. So, get going, I have to start the paperwork with Richard and a few elders and then work for a couple of hours.”

You work? I stared at him in wonder. “Hahaha, I do. I have my own security company. My dad still runs his architecture company.” That explains a lot, like the mansion, the theme and style of, everything inside!  I said while throwing my hands in the air, “Yeah, well you’re an heiress to three fortunes, and this land and everything on it has been passed down for five generations.” Leon stuck his tongue out at me, and I lightly slapped him laughing. Well, it’s already eight AM, lets get ready for the day, I start with my self-care routine Miranda taught me. I put some rollers in my hair for some nice loose waves and kept my face natural. I started rummaging through the closet and found a cute lace dress!

A off the shoulder chiffon and polyester, with tiny green and yellow floral embroidery, and above knee-length. It was perfect, I chose white flats, and wore the jewelry given by the Sapphire pack. After I was dressed, I released my waves and ruffled my hair a bit letting flowers bloom. “I will never get tired of watching you get ready… You’re so thoughtful and beautiful Perse.” I looked down and notice his hard on and delicious thought invaded my mind, one where he had his way with me on this desk and I walk around with his c*m in me all day. I let out a moan as I realized I was gently touching myself in front of him.

I went down for breakfast and was soon joined by Leon, and we ate with the ranked members and the Sapphire clan in the dining hall. I could feel Leon’s gaze on me make me squirm in delight as I thought of his large rough hands on my neck. “Luna, we must talk about getting your bloodwork done, and then your ceremony.” Oh, well I have a few places I need to visit first so I think that can wait until noon.

“Luna, my mother did not come all this way for you to push her to the side.” I looked at Alpha Samuel who was giving me the same gaze as Leon and I looked down at my plate, no, you’re right. Let’s get this out of the way, Mother Luna, mother, let’s use the library in the meantime to discuss everything. “Very well child, lets go after you finish your breakfast, you need all the food if you two keep going at the rate you are. Leon spits up his drink and I slowly turn my head to hide my red cheeks. “We’re werewolves dear we all do it.” Everyone started laughing as I excused myself to and headed to the library, I gave a kiss to Leon and left the dining hall. Samuel was right behind me, “Persephone, the nurse who will draw blood is right over here, and the Ceremony themed boards are over here. Do not worry about the price, I will take care of it all.”

Oh, thank you Samuel, that is very generous of your family. “Do not doubt your mate ever, trust each other, and always be honest. It keeps the mate bond strong.” Thank you, Samuel. May I ask about the history of the Sapphire pack before they all come barging in? He looked surprised and motioned me to sit down. 

Alpha Samuel: Long ago when the Moon Goddess created her children, she had her very first children molded from clay, and she took starlight and filled their bodies with air. Her children grew weary and left her to find meaning and they did, they started packs, and families, some stayed behind becoming gods of other were species. The sapphire pack is said to be her last child molded in her image, hence the eyes and silver hair. Our traits and Genes are so strong that our children will carry it, so we stay within our pack. One day the Sun rose and with it a man in shining armor and stole her heart and together they had a child. This child was in her image but had hair that burned brighter then the sun. Legend says however the lost child’s hair was disguised, her hair is silver like the moon, and she is to be mistaken for the Moon Goddess herself. Which we will find out with the blood test and ceremony… 

You’re not really here as family are you, you’re just here to see if the legends are true… I stood up and started to walk out as everyone was coming, “Is everything okay?” No, I will not have Alpha Samuel present for anything regarding the Luna Ceremony preparation. He stood up. I’m paying for all of this he said in a louder tone. I looked at him, I did not ask you to, and if you feel like leaving be my guest! I left the room in a hurry and started walking anywhere. I found myself alone by a fountain in the back where Leon came running out to me, wiping my tears away. I thought they were here as family, I thought they wanted to be family, they only want to see if I’m what everyone says I am. I don’t even know if I am! I said through the tears.

Leon held me in his arms while in the distance Samuel was watching. His mother approached him and smacked him with her cane. When did you become like your father?! So cold and suspicious of everything, hmm? “When they said the Lost child is no longer a story, mother. Do you know what this means? Our ancestor will come for her, they will all come for her! They will take her and force her to do unspeakable things!” Samuel’s mother sighed, that is why we must be here for her. We will be part of her foundation not the reason it crumbles! Miranda knows the child well; everything has been planned and the preparation starts tomorrow. We have four days until the full moon.
