As guests kept arriving it was one pack name that had me on edge, The Sapphire Pack. I’m so nervous, I’m supposed to be related them and they’re these stuck up royalty who think they’re better then everyone else?! I bite me lip, I have to choose my battles wisely, and I won’t let them take me away. They don’t own me! Perse growls in approval, and then another name makes my heart skip a beat. The Dark Crest Park, Alpha Leon Forrester, his Beta Jeremy, his parents Lidia and John Forrester. A small applause fills the room. Wow, they must be pretty popular… Now that we have all guest in attendance may I have the honor to introduce you to Luna Persephone Greene of The Dawn Pack. Everyones whispers were suddenly gone and only background music filled the air, the curtains were pulled back for me to enter and when I did, I heard nothing, but gasps filled the room.

“Her eyes?!”

“Look at her skin, it’s as if she was born sick!”

“No, her skin looks like it glows under the moonlight!”

“Her hair, have you ever seen someone’s hair that looked so red?!”

I started to fill like the room was closing in in me when someone approached me, Luna Persephone. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance again, smiling from ear to ear. I’m Alpha Leon Forrester of Dark Crest Pack, and I—

My eyes turned black from lust as Perse takes over, I see him struggling to keep his wolf at bay but loses the battle as he closes the distance between us engulfing me with a hug, dipping me, and kissing me passionately. Everyone in the room suddenly disappeared and the flowers and trees started blooming moon flowers as everyone was in complete awe. Then we heard a scream, and it brought us out of our tiny little world. I look over to see my Omega on the ground, and rush to help her up.

“Leave her, she does not deserve special treatment.” As I helped her up, I turned around and was facing Sapphire eyes, the man was towering over me, and I let a deep growl. How dare you assault my pack member! He looked amused, they’re beneath us little one, all of them.” No, they’re not, they are family, they are out brothers and sisters. When they fall, we fall I said as I wiped her tears away. Take the rest of the night off Kelly, please help yourself to anything you want. She hugged me and left, as everyone watched an older woman stepped forward. “Well done child, you have past the test. You truly are of Sapphire Pack. I looked at her confused and as she was about to continue a guard came running forward.  “I tried to stop them Luna, they said you knew they were arriving!” It’s alright George, Brandy, Jennifer, and Lauren are welcome here.

“They’re rogues!”

The old lady slammed her staff down, have you heard nothing the Luna has said?! They are our brothers and sisters; they are welcomed here! “Well said, mother. Alpha Samuel chimed in.

We may be rogues old man, but we were chosen by the Sun god and Moon Goddess! We are the Lunas Guard and if you have a problem, you can take it up with the higher powers. She crossed her arms, Lauren knelt down and spread her wings causing everyone to panic.

My father sends his finest warrior, and gift for the lost child. She stood up and passed me a beautiful box, as I opened it light shined out of it and in it a necklace of the sun and moon together. The old lady came over and helped me put it on and congratulated me. Richard brought over a knife, and we held the pack initiation right there. The scent changed of the three girls and one of them yelled mate, and she ran at a man who was standing by Leon’s parents.

Miranda decided to chime in, well, this has been a very eventful evening! Please continue to drink and eat, Richard would love to say a few words on behalf of our adopted daughter Persephone. She guided me to my seat where I sat in front of everyone and from my side view Leon was staring me down, it almost felt like he was undressing me. I felt wet in between my thighs and his eyes turned black.

“Thank you all for coming out and a special thanks to the Council for allowing me to be here with my mate, Miranda. Persephone my sweet child, in the months that I have known you, you have changed my life for the better. You have been like a daughter to me and today you made that a reality by choosing Miranda and I to fill that hole. You will do great things for our community, and I know you will change the supernatural world!”

Leon immediately started clapping and everyone followed his motion. Samuel and his mother were just as pleased, but he kept staring at Leon every now and then. I summoned my Luna guards forward and Lauren gifted them each an identical uniform and a bo staff. This armor has been made specifically for you, you have vowed to protect your Luna with your life, and we will see it through! My pack begin clapping and cheering as my guests joined in, but the Council did not look pleased. I took this opportunity to sneak way and take a walk through the flower garden, as I looked at the plants, I gave them a little nudge for some more flower to bloom. “I hope I’m not interrupting you, Persephone.” I picked up your scent the moment I snuck off, Leon. We approached me behind but still leaving some space between us. “I.. I need my mate, Persephone. I need you, now that I found I can’t breathe without you, you’re my oxygen, you keep my spirit alive, and my wolf sane.”

He started to close the distance between us, and I felt his large hands trail down my arms until his hand intertwined with mine. Sparks shot across my body, making my breathing uneven. Leon, I don’t know if I’m ready, I heard him sigh. “I’ll wait until you are, just come home with me, we need to be together for our wolf’s sake.” What about my pack? I felt his breathe on the side of my neck as he inheld my scent. We can merge the packs and be one, it does not have to happen all at once, we can take our time. I slowly turned to face him, and my eyes went straight to his lips, I closed my eyes and kissed me again. This time softer, making me wrap my arms around his neck as our kiss deepened. Small moans begin to escape me as a seductive growl came from him.  I broke our kiss and looked into his eyes, I feel like you can see my soul and he placed both of his hand on each side of my face and kissed my forehead. Let’s head back before your guards come looking for you, he smiled. He led the way and as we entered the party again, cheers erupted from everyone. Leon on took me to introduce me to his parents and they are beyond happy, his mother said this is the will of the Moon Goddess, then left to speak with Miranda. Leon’s dad, John was telling me that there is no need to rush, as he smiled, he told me how nervous Lidia was when they first met. It made me chuckle and Leon looked at me “I love your laugh already.” I nervously but me lip and said I need to use the restroom. As I scurried away people tried stopping me to talk and the feeling of Anxiety was back, I felt out of breath, dizzy, and hot. I started taking deeper breaths as if the oxygen was not filling my lungs.

Perse was driving me crazy, screaming MATE. I tried to push her to the back of my mind, but she was not having it. MATE! WE NEED OUR MATE! I need water, please as I looked to a woman who was close to me, and she looked worried. She got me water as quickly as possibly “Oh my goddess, you’re burning up!” I looked around for Miranda, and she sensed me. Perse?!She came running over with Lidia as males started stalking me like I was their prey. Samuel and other Alphas were standing between us and them using their Alpha tones to stand down. Perse, I know you wanted to wait but you can’t you have to take Leon, or someone will take you by force! I looked at Lidia and her and I nodded my head weakly. Lidia Screamed in her Luna tone “Leon take your mate to her room, now!”. Without questioning he did as he was told, he swept me up like a bride and used his wolf speed as my guards were protecting us. They showed him to my room, and he locked the door. I don’t feel s- s-so good, I need, I need… Leon’s eyes turned black, and he walked up to me and picked me up wrapping my legs around his waist. I know what you need, Perse. I need your permission first, as he looked into my eyes. I looked at him, and as a few more minutes passed and the heat was getting much more intense, I finally gave in. Yes, Leon, please as the words escaped from my lips and his crashed into mine.
