The Lost Princess of The Heavens

Revelations 1:2

“If I was your mate, I would have my way with you in front of everybody. The very power that emanates from you is intoxicating.” Samuel took a deep inhale of Elara’s scent and slowly exhaled. “We can stay a little longer. I have something to tell you, and it might not be the right time…” I watched him take a deep breath in again. “You are my destined mate, and you’re also Leon’s mate. Samuel bit his lip as he considered telling me the rest. You did not notice me because you were always near Leon that night… I tried so many times to approach you, but Leon is much more charming than I am. That’s why I acted the way I did. I was heartbroken that you did not see me at first. That’s still no excuse for my behavior.” I watched how his hair fell over his face and his blue eyes peered into mine through the strands of his silver hair. Why hadn't I noticed his hair before? How his eyes look like sapphires themselves, his rugged but gentle features… I put my hands over his, what does this mean then? “I do not know to be honest…” 

Well, I guess we can take this time to get to know each other a little better… Samuel pulled back and sat in front of me, “tell me everything you can remember.” I began to tell him everything that had occurred the night I woke up to Eliza slapping me and blowing up some cabin. Samuel listened to every word, letting me ramble on until he was caught up with everything in my life. “We should head back now, Elara.” Why? You have not even told me anything about you, I said, pouting. I watched him chuckle, and he placed his hand on the back of his neck. “Even though the ranked members know I am looking after you, others will think differently.” How so? “You truly are as innocent as they say.” I saw him look up again and I gave him a nudge to tell me. “An affair, Elara. Rumors could spread and werewolves love to gossip.”

Let them gossip Elara. If he truly is our mate, then they have no right to question our mothers will.

I smiled and looked at him. Tell me about yourself, Samuel. “Well, you know about the Sapphire pack, and my ancestors. You know we’re not related by blood, since my ancestors were molded from clay by the moon goddess… I guess we can start with my parents. My mother was the heiress to the sapphire pack, but female wolves cannot run their own pack, even if they are of Alpha blood. My grandparents reached out to neighboring Alphas for their sons to compete for her hand, and out of all of them my father won. Son of the Golden Sun Pack, he inherited the Sapphire pack, while his younger brother took over his pack. Due to this arranged marriage, a truce was made, and the truce is still in effect because of me, and my mother’s family promised them sons and we are.” I cut him off before he could continue. You have brothers. “Yes, Silas, the second oldest, and Sebastian, the youngest. You’ll get to meet them at the ceremony.” I looked down, frowning at the word, please continue. I saw him frown as well, “My father and grandfather put my brothers and I through brutal training regimes, and on the night of me accepting the Alpha title, my father disappeared. I kept tabs on him, he travelled mostly, and found his mate while doing so. We haven’t spoken since he transferred the title over…”

I’m sorry Samuel, do you wish to talk to him at times? “I don’t know, Elara. I only told you a little bit, there’s a lot of bad history there.” Maybe it will be different now that he is in a better place mentally and physically… “Maybe. We really should head back now, Elara.” Yes, I suppose we should. I watched him stand up and he helped me up right after and as he was towering over me, I caught his scent. I felt myself go weak in the knees from smell of the fresh rain. I looked up at his mouth, studying the way his mouth curled as he talked to me. I want to kiss you, Sam…

Oh, moon goddess! I saw a huge smile across his face, and he brushed his thumb over my bottom lip softly. “As much as I would love to kiss you, it has to be right, and you’re marked. Please accept this instead.” Samuel lowered himself and kissed my cheek and then my hand, sending this fire throughout my body. A moan escaped my mouth and I heard him take a deep breath in. “A goddess amongst us, please allow me to escort you back to the pack house.” Y-ye-yes, thank you Alpha Samuel… I looked away blushing as I took off my robe and shifted into Persephone. I picked up my gift delicately and watched Samuel shift into his wolf, who was actually bigger than Adonis and Perse. We circled him playfully inspecting him, as his wolf was getting excited by the attention. A fully white wolf like myself, and his eyes stood out even more.

After we finished our playful interaction, I let Perse take the wheel from there, and it seemed Samuel did as well. We both took off toward the packhouse where everyone was still waiting. Damn! I shut off my mind link so Leon could not find me… I started chewing on lip and then I felt a nip at our ankles, Samuel was falling behind. I felt so happy, chasing each other, and seeing who is faster, since we’re both no ordinary wolves. Suddenly, the fence was coming up and we both leaped over and there we saw Leon waiting patiently, but something was off… I knew Alphas are possessive, but this was something else.  We shifted back as robes were handed to us, and I could see that Samuel and my Luna guards were seeing the same thing. 

Samuel’s mother stepped out from behind everyone and smiled. I told her she would be back and protected! After all, a sapphire wolf is more than an ordinary wolf, she said, smiling. I bowed, thanking her for her generosity and sending Alpha Samuel to watch over me as I got some fresh air. Lydia was so happy to have me back, but once she caught Leon’s attitude, she put him and Jeremy to rehearse some more for the ceremony. I thanked Lydia for her quick thinking and informed the girls that I was going to take a shower. I had Diana and Alex escort me to my room while the others stayed on guard on my floor. How has everything been for you two? "Its been great, spending time with my long lost siblings, and getting to know them. They actually remind me of my parents..." I stopped and turned to hug her, and now they had someone to answer their questions, I said, smiling. She nodded and I looked over to Diana. "This place is boring. I want to go drinking. Let's make plans." I laughed at her, and told her we couldn't. "Why not, Luna?"

First off, I am not their Luna yet. Secondly, I have never had an alcoholic beverage in my life and I don't think Leon would approve... Regardless, I am way too busy to take a personal day. I saw the girls' faces and they both hugged me tightly. "I think we should get ready and go right now. It is only nine'o' clock, so we are doing great on time." I looked at Diana and then over to Alex, smiling. Let's do it! I mind linking Jennifer, Sylvie, and Brandy to meet us in Diana's room after we grabbed some stuff from my mine. As we are going through my closet, she picks out a few things for me to wear, and I decide to let the ranked members know that we're going out, and it's a girls-only night. Leon was at the bedroom door within a matter of seconds, "Perse, If you wanted to go out, you could have told me." I looked at him softly, every since I became a Luna at The Dawn pack, I never once had a moment or an adventure for myself. all I know is this, while waiving my arms around. I'm sorry, but I am really stressed out. I need to spend time with my friends, and it needs to be away from the packland.

Leon looked so hurt but at the same time there was that same energy from earlier... "Leon, it will be fine. She has her personal trained body guards with her." Leon took a few steps in Diana's direction, "Trained or not, she could use some undercover body guards." Diana flashed a devilish grin and said, I know the two perfect guys for the job. "Silas and Sebastian Fontaine, of course!" It's a club they frequent and I happen to be on excellent terms with Silas being that he is my mate." I watched Diana look down at her nails, inspecting them while moving my eyes over to Leon, the club you're going to is Sapphire Pack territory, how do you plan on getting there?" A plane, and don't worry, we will take extra care of Perse, Diana quickly walked over to me and hugged me tightly and I started laughing. I have not seen this side her before. "Well, please be safe, and call me if you need anything, okay Persephone? " I nodded my head enthusiastically and took my stuff as left the room, we headed to Diana's room to get ready with the rest of the girls for my first night out!
