Another Ordinary Day
"Why did you hide this from me," I asked. As the tears roll down my eyes. There was a huge silence.
" Is it a bit late?"
Nine years back.
Today is a special day for everyone. But for me, it's just an ordinary day as the one who made my ordinary day a special one is acting like I don't exist. As I walk to the school, she was my thought, her smile was the only thing in my mind at that time. The school was 2 kilometers away from my home. My class was on the third floor, the third room on the right side of the corridor while we come from the principal's room. It made me so happy until I reached the school. The first thing I noticed was her empty seat. We had 2 columns of benches in our class, one column for boys and the other for girls. There was a space between the columns so that the teacher could walk. The boy's column was at the left of the blackboard and the girl's column was at the right. I was sitting on the left corner of the third bench and she was on the right corner of the second bench. This seating arrangement gives me a good view of her. The empty seat made me sad. Even though she avoids me, I loved watching her. I went to my chair and sat lazily. That time Sachin came to me and ask -"Hei Aadi! Did you do our maths work which mam gave us yesterday".I was like "Bro it's our last day at school. Do you think she will even remember it". Sachin clumsily scratched his head." I don't know, and I have done the work". Seeing us talking Dev approached "Good morning guys".I smiled at him and Sachin started talking to him. According to our teachers, they were the most brilliant students, as they were the toppers in the class. Sachin had a medium height of 170cm and 73 kg, Dev was a bit short than Sachin. He was 168cm and 70kg. As compared to them I was so short. I was 164cm and 62 kg. They were having firm bodies whereas I was so thin. They were talking about something, I just let my ear hear the conversation, they were just talking about the work which mam gave us. Suddenly my eyes move towards the door of our class. I saw the smile which I always watched. I don't know what to say, my heart filled with joy. Its her.
