This was Wednesday. Anna would have two days to prepare. She didn’t think it would be good to bring the boys with her then. She would arrange a later time for them to see their father. Perhaps they could spend the next day with Will unless he had business to do then.
Anna went into the library where Ausable was catching up on work for his family’s iron business.
“He will be here Friday,” Anna said. “He’s staying at the Youngs Hotel on Court Street. Do you know it?”
“Yes. It’s about a fifteen minute walk. My driver can take you.”
“Thank you. That would be good.”
