Chapter 5Rob sat down heavily. “I have to admit I know nothing about dating women, but I wish you wouldn’t go out with Christine again. She’s a lying bitch.”
“I know,” Phil said, seemingly in all seriousness. “But we have a history.”
“A history she screwed up not once, but twice. You know what they say about being fooled twice. All I can say is don’t make it a third time.” Rob shot Lee a look he hoped said he was glad they didn’t have these problems. They’d been lovers for over five months. For Rob, what he felt was becoming love in every sense of the word. Lee seemed to feel the same way, though sometimes he acted reserved. Nerves, no doubt. Loving each other was scary. So much could go wrong.
“Don’t worry,” he said to Lee. “Phil doesn’t ask for help with his love life too often.”
